One week later, the werewolf culture class commenced sharply at eight o’clock in the morning in the tiered lecture hall. On the podium, Professor Sarek looked radiant. His golden-brown eyes gleamed under the lights, and his entire presence radiated the unmistakable satisfaction of a man thoroughly well-fed. “Turn to page sixty-two,” he said, his voice carrying a distinctly cheerful lilt. “Today, we’ll be discussing the werewolf’s… views on romance.”

The professor was a new lecturer and was too focused on his work to mingle with the other lecturers so no one bothered to mention to him that the family that owned the University (Vanderwilson) had two children attending the this year and one of them took his classes.

Most faculty had already left for the day; only a couple stayed late to finish up last-minute work. Just as I reached the stairwell, I could already smell Tessa’s amazing and addictive scent. Despite not needing to drink blood, her scent still made my mouth water and my instincts kicked in. I shuddered at the thought of other vampires feeling the same way; vampires who aren’t as strong as I am. “Professor Evergreen?” I heard a familiar voice coming from down the stairway. “Hello; I didn’t know you were here today.”

So why was he not affected by the skull? Nevertheless, I had to return back to reality as we both looked up and in front of us at what laid ahead of us. This was a field of wolfsbane that was more than enough to kill the entire werewolves in the school. But how? This was forbidden? I was still wondering when I noticed where Professor Derrick was facing. I followed his gaze and there was the most horrifying thing I have ever seen. "Hawkins." Professor Derrick muttered under his breath. There were a couple of bodies in this field. These ones had already started decomposing but among them was a bloated one that was fresh compared to the rest.

Maxion said, facepalming his self. “I'll have to agree with you there.” I replied. “A good number of these slaves were people we captured from opposing werewolf packs or people who committed heinous crimes so they should be happy I didn't kill them.” “Exactly what we were saying earlier.” Chief Dara said. “Give them a little and watch them work all over you.” I nodded in agreement while watching their supposed leader talking to some people beside him. “Who is that man?” I asked. “Um…I really do not know?” Chief Dara replied.

I looked to the side and I made eye contact with him, the devil himself— Professor Marison. He was staring, with a sly smirk on his lips as he twirled the drink in his cup. I swallowed and took in his attire. He was only in a dark red dress shirt, a few buttons undone. The little light made me see his skin, those hard pecs that I remembered touching. With his legs parted, sitting like a king, I felt a shiver run through my body with the power he had.

She said loudly, gaining the attention of both boys seated by her side, "Professor Davis?" Blue-eyes asked brows furrowing in what she suspected was confusion. "Yeah, our psychology professor," Shd said slowly, giving the boy an incredulous look. He didn't even know the name of the professor of the course he was offering. Students these days. "Uh, No." The boy said, turning his laptop in her direction. "Our Professor is Doctor Grey," He pointed to the computer screen. Maya's head shot up instantly and she grabbed the laptop from the boy's grasp, her eyes widening in shock when she saw that he was indeed saying the truth.

All of my students loved me, and seemed to love my teachings. When the first year ended and the second year began, I was not prepared for the influx of young girls, students, throwing themselves at me. I was disgusted. It's an unspoken tradition at this school that every professor would end up sleeping with a student by the end of their second year teaching. That didn't happen with me. The students we have here, or at least the ones I end up teaching, are all spoiled rich kids. The girls are bratty, and not in the way I like.

Nick just pulled me out from the class while holding my hand. I stopped walking with him and said, "What are you doing? Are you mad?" "What did I do wrong? Your professor is a werewolf. I scoffed. "I know what I saw...what I heard...what I felt..." "It took you a while to wake up so maybe you watched something about," He failed to repress a chuckle, "werewolves, before getting hurt. Maybe it was embedded in your subconscious." I took another step forward. "I know what happened to me. I can taste the smoke and smell the sweat on them." I cringed at the memory.
