Western Literature Books Novels & Stories

I got up from the bed and walked around the room, still no pain, how weird. I noticed the bookshelf and decided to take a look. There were so many books, some with older worn covers and others a bit more newer looking. I picked up a small red book and read the cover ‘A Lycanthropy Reader; WEREWOLVES IN WESTERN CULTURE’. I flicked through the pages and put it back on the shelf, a little too intense for some early morning reading. I picked up another one and read the cover, ‘The Garden of Eden’ by Ernest Hemingway. Not what I expected from a teenage werewolf soon-to-be-Alpha. I put it back and my eyes fell on a really older looking book. I pulled it out and it was big and very heavy. It looked

She told herself the faint tingle was her imagination, just as the hot dreams she’d been having the past few nights had been nothing more than memories of her girlish rescue fantasies with the temperature turned up by her adult experiences. She traced the raised lettering. A version of Red Riding Hood with the wolf as both sinner and seducer and the woodsman as the hero who saves the girl and takes her away from her old life to a new, better one. ALEXANDRIA I watched as Wyatt began wandering around the library, returning to place books down on the table. I slightly straightened to read one of the titles. Most of the books were about werewolf history, while some focused on the topic of becoming a better leader. Wyatt finally sat back down and opened one of the books, but he paused when he felt my stare. “What?” he asked, looking up. “You actually read?” I muttered, a hint of disbelief in my voice.

As I glanced around the library, my fingers traced the spine of each book my hands touched. "Help me, Teresa," "With what? What book?" "A book about the West," "Well if it's about the West. What better way to know about it other than from a person who lives there? I'm a Westerner," I shook my head. "No, you don't understand," "What do I don't understand? You're being difficult, Amethyst," I came to a sudden halt, causing Teresa to nearly bump into me from behind. "I'm discussing a narrative from a distinct viewpoint—a perspective recounting tales from the West, not your own," I clarified.
