The Wrong Kind Of Right
Luca opened the door and stumbled out, breath heavy, hands trembling.
“What..” His voice cracked. “What the hell was that?”
Asher didn’t answer.
He just stepped closer, eyes burning.
“Luca, get back in the car.”
Asher’s voice was low but commanding, his body already sliding between Luca and the scene unraveling around them.
The sound of tires still screeching from the last collision echoed down the alleyway like warning bells, but something in Asher’s tone, sharper than glass, made Luca freeze.
“Asher... what’s going on?” Luca’s voice shook, but his feet refused to move.
