What Does An Upside Down Smile Mean Novels & Stories

Alex reassures me with a gentle smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners in amusement. As I watch Alex, I can't help but notice how incredibly handsome he looks when he smiles. It's a rare sight, but when it graces his lips, it transforms his face, lighting up his features in a way that is both captivating and endearing. In that moment, I find myself wishing he would do it more often, allowing me to bask in the radiance of his smile. With a sheepish grin, I thank him once more, feeling a surge of appreciation for his unexpected kindness.

Amber What kind of smile would I wear for my mugshot? I’d been asking myself that for the past thirty seconds ever since Evalie opened her little mouth and let a nuclear bomb drop on my sanity. Would it be a crazed, Joker-like grin? Teeth bared, eyes wide, insanity seeping through the cracks? Or maybe a dead-eyed smirk, cold and distant, the kind of smile you wear when your soul's been flattened by bullshit so often, it’s just muscle memory now.

I raised up my brows ushering her to give me an answer. When she said nothing, a smile crept up my lips. “I will take your silence as approval. Friends then” I pulled my hand for a handshake. She slowly pulled hers out. We held each other's gaze. “Since we’re okay now, at least smile” I got a glare from her in return. “A sick person doesn't smile” “From which source. From what I know, it helps in recovering. The expression on your face is scary. Like-” “Like a ghost right?”

Annoyed, she glared at him and argued, “I like watching it upside down.” He pursed his lips and smiled. The smile on his face looked handsomely charming. He hummed, “Mhmm, hmmm.”

I took a deep breath and faced him but I couldn’t speak. He’s looking at me smiling like a lunatic and I don’t know why. I hit him in the arm and he just laughed at me. Why is he so mean? Here I am crying in front of him but he’s just grinning like a dog who got treats right there. “Why are you smiling like a lunatic?” I asked as I raised my brow. He continued chuckling and said, “It’s just that, you look… unpretty when crying.”

It looked really creepy. He raised a human hand. Seeing Ms. Anastasia, he gave a terrible smile that made all his teeth visible. His lips stretched unnaturally wide, revealing a row of yellowed teeth that looked like they hadn't been brushed in years. The corners of his mouth turned up in a sinister grin, and his eyes glinted with malice. It is a smile that sends shivers down the spines of those who see it, a smile that promises nothing but trouble and pain.

(Doris' Pov) At Evelyn's order, her twelve guards immediately surrounded me like they were waiting for an ambush. I looked at them one after the other, showing them a sexy smile. They looked at each other in confusion, wondering why I did that when they came to fight me, hoping I'd be ready for a fight, not a sexy smile thrown at them. Those who knew me well knew that this was a signal. A signal that indicated that I wanted to kill someone. Whenever an opponent or rather, an enemy, sees me smiling like that on the battlefield, they will pee in fear of what is going to happen.

I say and he smirks. For fuck's sake. I grit my teeth uncontrollably. I really hate it so bad when he smirks like that. It always means something. Something bad, something mysterious, something dangerous, something.... Not so good at all and I don't want to see anything of the sort. God!!! "We shall see." Crap.

The exclamation mark then transformed into an image: a thumbs-down sign, clearly conveying mockery. Underneath the image was a message: "Improve your skills before coming back. You're embarrassing yourself!"

"If only I could crush all you nitwits with my hands" Ryan sighed as a gust of wind blew through his hair. He stood up at his balcony, staring at every single people of the town with disgust.. "You all made my life miserable, I'll do so by returning the favor" he said looking up into the sky and smiling a little the world looked brighter when he smiles. That's why Ryan doesn't smile that much. His lips are always slightly curved downwards, but not a lot.
