“You monster! I hate you!” Ben had a straight face as he grabbed under my jaw before he tilted my ear towards him. “Comply with me honey if you want to protect that alpha. I own a gun and it won’t be difficult to end his life and when I’m caught, the news will be about how he was murdered by his lover’s husband. Azrael’s legacy will end in shame.” Ben threatened as I cried out. “Please don’t hurt him.” I begged as Ben climbed off me. “How you behave will determine what happens to that alpha love. Don’t disappoint me again.” Ben said as his hand went buckle of my pants. “You don’t have a choice but to obey me.”

This chubby child, too, stood there in shock, blood on his face, and then spun and ran away. “Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben!” Ben was so scared that he cried out. “What happened?” Lalisa asked in horror, as she had only stepped away to answer a phone call and now this had occurred. “It’s Mr. Anderson, he’s an evil robot, he attacked Bob, he’s terrible. I don’t want him anymore. I don’t want him anymore,” Ben cried as he struck Mr. Anderson. Mr. Anderson stood there, acknowledging the blame, and bowed his head slowly.

I needed Hailey to survive, and I would do whatever it took—even if that meant working with the devil himself. I took a deep breath, stepping back and allowing Ben to approach. “Do what you have to do,” I said, my voice strained. “But if you hurt her, I’ll kill you myself.” Ben didn’t answer. Instead, he knelt next to Hailey, his movements precise and practiced. His hands were gentle as they moved over her, checking her wounds. I watched him carefully, every nerve on edge, ready to act if he made one wrong move. But he didn’t. He seemed to know what he was doing, which only confused me more.

It is a good thing that everyone is busy with the preparations for the approaching Halloween Event that everyone is so excited about. Once outside of the theatre gym and into the clearing, Mr. Ben inhaled a great amount of the fresh air that tasted so green and fresh, it is refreshing for his old lungs, but it does not mean that he is that old that his joints are rusting and grunting. Mr. Ben is not to be underestimated. His senses and skill are still sharp as a knife and are heavily reliable for him. “You know trying to get behind me would be an impossible task to be achieved.” He said as he placed his hands behind his back, facing the trees and not planning to turn and look at the two juni

And looked at me. Ben didn’t move. His body lay sprawled on the concrete floor, blood pooling beneath him, one side of his face swollen, his lips split, and his eyes… for the first time since I met him, they were empty. No rage. No hate. Just a defeat that had come far too late. Footsteps thundered down the corridor like hammers striking steel. Rafael and Calvin rounded the corner. “Secure the perimeter!” Calvin barked. “Make sure no one escapes through the west fire stairs!”

“My friend is such a scared kitten, but we can definitely go on without him.” Rowan grabbed the packet of cigarettes on the table, opened it, and retrieved one stick. He lit it and took a long drag, then puffed the smoke into Ben’s face. “I told you that you would join my son in the afterlife if you played with me, old man,” he said lazily. “So you have ten minutes to come up with something, or I will truly end your pathetic life.” Elder Ben sighed, frustrated to the core. He had hoped Darkmoor would agree once he saw that an Alpha was an ally and that they could use his poison on Zevara, but he had been utterly disappointed.

“Yes, I think they do. You know that Daniel man, he said that my parents and Anna were waiting on us, Ben. That when I got back, he’d take me to them right away. I know you’re scared for what’s going to happen, but don’t you be. What’s waiting over there is good, sweetheart. Don’t you be afraid for me. Don’t let it cloud your thinking. You have to beat him. You have to rid the world of that kind of evil and find your way to me again. Do you understand? No matter what he does to provoke you, you keep your wits and you kill him.” Taking Imara’s hand, he rubbed his thumb over her branded finger. “I will, baby. I swear to you.” Imara squeezed his hand. “I know you will. You’re the only one who c

We all gather in the kitchen. I reach for the coffee pot, but before I can even fill it, Ben vaults over the counter and snatches it from my hands like a caffeinated ninja. “What the hell are you doing?” I snap, narrowing my eyes at his muddy, blood-covered form. “Your little James Bond slide just ruined everything! Evelyn’s going to murder us.” He snorts and fills the jug with water. “I’d rather face Evelyn’s wrath than die from your toxic brew.”

He growled, while drawing a sword out of its scabbard. Eva's mother threw out daggers to accompany Eva's father dash towards Benjamin. Benjamin stood in the path of the daggers and managed to deflect one. Before he could deflect the other, he clashed with Eva's father. So, the remaining dagger embedded itself into his stomach. "Go!" Benjamin yelled at Jasmine. Jasmine ran off with the understanding to get help from the outside.
