" Gemma cursed. From Livian's expression, he had forgotten about him too. "He was your assistant and the two of you were in quite a friendly relationship. It's not impossible for you to have him do your dirty work." Wayne speculated, immediately waving his hands in surrender when he saw Gemma's glare. "That's not what I suspect. It's what can be used against you." Gemma nodded at the clarification as did Livian, so he continued. "He also met Beth the day before her disappearance." "That's…" "Twisted, I know." Livian completed her statement, speaking for the first time since Wayne arrived.

Clar ignored the lingering gaze of the stranger behind her. Leaving the front door wide open, she collapsed right next to Ben, desperately trying to melt the deathly chill of his paws with her own warm hands. “Ben... please open your eyes. Look at me, okay?” Great Beast God, isn't Ben a fated male lead? Isn't he supposed to turn every disaster into a blessing? How could a simple trip outside leave him like this? From the brutal marks covering Ben’s body, it was clear he hadn’t stood a single chance to fight back. Not a single patch of flesh remained unmarred, and even his beast-skin skirt was thoroughly drenched in dark blood.

Then the most perilous happened, the rock flew high in the air. The monster was now able to see him from the small square occupied by the stone earlier. Benjamin comes out of his trance and fear strikes him instantly. The beast made an earth shaking howl. The brick wall collapsed accompanied with a gush of wind sending Benjamin to fly away with the air. A skeleton covered with mist and snow flew out in violent storm. "My son is released from the prison. Princess Veronica your death is coming to you." There was a villainous laughter left out of the woman who once again appeared yelling triumphant the slogan of victory of her son.

Survived yes but he is not the same man. ‘I’m not asking you to tell me anything. I just want to get to know you Silas. Not here, like this, but out there. In the real world.’ Ben gets up from the floor and takes my face in his hands so I have no choice but to look into his eyes. As he moves in closer I hear his heart beat faster and it thumps against his rib cage and his scent changes from fear to arousal. ‘Ill meet you later on this week Ben. I have to go now. Please, keep your mouth closed. There are worse things in the world than me and my kind.’ His lips meet my own before I can finish talking. He pulls at my hardening cock through my trousers. He always knows how to make me feel good.

Ben said in an afraid tone as he sat on the couch against the window. “It’s not possible. Even it is, then don’t be scared, nothing will happen to you…You don’t see horror flicks. In every horror movie, heroine is the last one to be attacked.” Ben stated chuckling trying to convince himself more than Zara. “Shut up Ben” Zara said with uneven breathing. All of a sudden the window broke and the hooded killer attacked Ben from behind. He held Ben by his hair, pulled his head backwards exposing his neck. And with a sudden flick, slit the young man’s throat. The blooded oozed out of his neck as he took his last breath.

“Ben, this is your chance to come clean. If there’s something you’re involved in, now is the time to tell us.” Ben’s eyes darted nervously between Rayka and Liam. “I swear, I’m not involved in anything. I’ve been loyal to the pack.” Liam stepped forward, his voice low and serious. “We’ve been hearing reports of suspicious behavior. If you’re hiding something, now is the time to reveal it.” Ben’s face contorted in fear, and he finally broke under the pressure. “Okay, okay. I’ve been working with someone from the Nightwalker Pack. They promised me safety and security if I helped them.”

He was so excited that he ran down, all the six floors. “Effel enterprise?” Ben’s face revealed a smile although sinister for the first time since he entered the room. “Wha….” Jayden looked cheated. That was his thunder. Amelia looked at Ben with a questioning gaze. “That was easy. Why else would you be excited?” Ben said in a matter-of-fact tone. “Also, there is no point in following all the previous leads.” “Why boss?” Shadow choked in frustration. “Why follow the puppets when we have the puppet master?” Ben asked with an arrogant sinister smile. He narrowed his eyes as he stared at Simon “How comfortable will you be double crossing a close friend?”
