Sabrina almost threw away her phone upon seeing the picture. Her body froze in an instant as her eyes were about to pop out from its socket whilst she stared at it. It was as if she had seen a ghost! “Are you okay?” Michelle inquired. “You suddenly look pale as if you've seen a ghost,” she commented. “Did you watch a video where a scary face suddenly showed up unexpectedly? I hate those videos! It gives me a heart attack every time I accidentally watch it!” Angelo intervened.

I scrolled through, "What are you in the mood for?" "Hmmm, horror. OO LET'S WATCH THE CONJURING." Sahana clapped her hands. I quickly shook my head, "No, no I'm not good with horror." "I'm sure both you and I don't want to see me screaming my ass off whenever someone just turns a light on, ok." "Nope, nope, nope." Sahana threw her hands up, "Aw comeonn just man up and watch itt. It's not even that scary."

"It won't happen, okay? You don't need to be afraid. It won't happen." Phrases you keep whispering in a soft tone that sooner started to calm me slowly, but still not enough to make me forget what I saw in the dream. The scary loud thuds, the terrifying face of yours, the frightening action you just did. I can't get them out of my head.

Imagine you saw a monster, demon, witch, vampire, or even a ghost stood right before your eyes and it turns out you are the only one it is visible to. Tell me, how would you feel? "What?!" I exclaimed. "It's just our reflections Peggy. What is it? What has happened to you all of a sudden?" He asked but ni ignored his question. "You... You mean to tell me... You mean to tell me you ca... can't see... tha... that?" I asked. Fear gripped me once more. It's all happening all over again. What do I do?

"Of course not. We can handle this, we are not scaredy cats like you, it's nothing just a normal movie, so we are fine." Susan nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we've seen scarier things, so there is no way that this simple movie would scare us, if you're scared, then admit it." Just as they exchanged confident glances, a sudden, spine-chilling jump scare jolted them all. Luna and Susan let out simultaneous shrieks, clutching onto each other with wide eyes. Zayn couldn't help but chuckle at their reaction. "Really, no fear at all, huh?"

I nearly collapsed at the sound of his thick baritone voice. My heart was about to explode in my chest. “Don't be afraid, child.” I scoffed, raising my brows. “Don't tell me not to be afraid, you are dead!” I screamed, taking another step back. “How will I not be afraid when I'm seeing ghosts? I mean, who sees ghosts?!” I screamed at them, placing my hands in the air to act as a barrier between us. Fuck! I see dead people! But how come? Was that a fucking gift too?

“You should keep it low you don’t want people running out of here thinking I am here to do something bad to them.” “Silly…” The movie started soon and the exciting voices of the people filled the room. My hand moved and hugged his hand, I hid my face in his hand as I hugged his hand while my body winched at the terrifying scene that just appeared on the screen. I know our creatures are scary but I think this is scarier than ours, a ghost, I was never fond of it and it makes me so uncomfortable but it’s allowing me to be closer to Brake. “Maybe, we shouldn't watch this…” Brake’s voice was filled with worry, I shook my head.

I shudder with that thought and push it away fast. I’m Scared. I link him back with impulsive nerves, my inner voice weak, and wavering, and again he nudges me with his nose. That sincere ‘I’m here, it’s okay’ that brings me some sense of calm, yet not fully. I try to keep my eyes forward in a bid to adjust my night vision and flinch when that familiar femme leaps out right in front of me and scares me half to death. I inhale so sharply I have to stifle a choke.

That hair raising feeling that happens when you overthink and scare yourself. And then it happened. I had just put the nozzle into my car. I opened my car door to wait in my seat and scroll through my phone while it refilled. I sat down, grabbed my phone, and had that creepy feeling like I was being watched. I looked into the rear-view mirror and saw dark eyes staring back at me. I screamed. My dumbass too scared that my brain stopped functioning. I didn’t jump out. I didn’t run. I didn’t grab the closest thing I could use as a weapon. I just sat and screamed like some idiot in those stereotypical slasher films.
