While Max gave Henry his curious stare. Andrew, who could guess where this might lead, rolled his eyes and leaned back to the sofa. Henry threw a sharp stare at Andrew as if challenging him to tell his side of the story first before Henry spilled his secret. When Andrew said nothing, Henry smiled slyly. ‘You’re going to regret it.’ He told Andrew that with his wicked gaze. Henry cleared his throat as if he was stating something important. “Have you ever heard of the term neighbor?” He continued after Evan and Max’ furrow became deeper. “Apparently, it’s a new term for a secret relationship.”

“What happened to that mother and daughter who used to live here?” “Haha,” the neighbor laughed coldly. “They have already moved out a long time ago. You should stop harassing them too. They have already moved out; they are finally free of you.” “Where did they move to?” Tomas asked solemnly. “How would I know?” Tomas steeled his face, which was green with anger. The neighbor said, “Don’t you have an inkling why they didn’t even tell you that they moved? Hehe, even though I really couldn’t bear seeing my longtime neighbor move away, I still have to say, they did the right thing! With an ex-husband like you who keeps coming back

Nadia opened it and took a small sip, her hand was shaking. Adrian noticed as he sat across from her, his elbows resting against his knees. “What happened?” Nadia looked at him. “I know you're probably wondering how I found out you live here.” Adrian raised an eyebrow. “You're my neighbor?” “Yes.” She gave a faint, humorless smile. “I'm right next door. I suppose the division between the buildings is why we've never crossed paths.” Adrian nodded. “I don't have time to explain much.” Nadia glanced at the clock.

I wondered. I walked slowly towards the window with my arms wrapped around me. I grabbed the window handles to pull them back to close it but I stopped midway when I noticed the lights next door. Who could that be? The house beside us was empty for over a year. I squinted and could actually see the inside of the room through the window adjoining mine. Like seriously, I could strangle the guy who constructed these houses like that. So damn close! Anyway, we finally got some new neighbours. What an odd time to move in though, I couldn't help but think. I just hope they would be nice. My parents could have some pals.

The next morning, as Trent stood in front of the kitchen window drinking his coffee, he debated whether or not to close the blinds. He looked across the yard towards his neighbor’s house. It appeared empty. With a small shrug, he decided to keep the blinds as they were. She had probably got bored of watching him at that point. He was something new. Trent understood that, just as he knew he wasn’t the most exciting person.

Before Lena could even react, Suzy bumped into her slightly. “Woah… I’m sorry!” Suzy said quickly, then immediately broke into a giggle like nothing had happened. Lena narrowed her eyes slightly. “What’s making you feel this way?” Suzy leaned closer like she was about to share state secrets. “We have a new neighbor.” Lena blinked. “So?” Suzy’s eyes widened. “And Lena…” She paused dramatically.

Tyrell remarked and I couldn't help the heat that rose to my cheeks, it was normal for us to get a house, we were dating after all. From the corner of my eye, Cleo was rolling her eyes, and imitating a puking person until finally our neighbor arrived. "Hello, I'm Annette, but folks call me Ani, you just be our new neighbors, it's nice to meet you." She drew her hands out and shook us one by one. She was all smiles and bubbly, she looked to be in her late twenties. It seemed as though Tyrell was in no mood to be greeting neighbors as he was more focused on getting our things from the car.
