I update 4-5 times a week, I might sneak in extra updates, but yeah, I'm a new author, getting back into writing after a long break and I'm really trying my best to word out the fascinating images in my head, into this book. You should know when your work matters. Seven words. Sent on a Sunday evening by a man who didn't send Sunday evening messages, who communicated in instructions and single words and the specific economy of someone for whom every syllable was a considered expenditure. Seven words that weren't really about the work at all. She sat on her floor with her phone in both hands and her book forgotten beside her and the Sunday city outside doing its quiet thing and felt something move through her chest that was warm and large and completely impossible to file under anything manageable.

The guard studied me for a long moment. Then he reached for his radio. I stood at those gates and I did not fidget and I did not look away and my wolf stood straight inside me for the first time in seven years. The radio crackled. The guard looked up. Alpha Rhys says to bring her in, he said. He did not sound surprised. And that was the part that should have reassured me. It did not.

We had seven days to save seven people. Starting now.

She trampled on our bond at the sacred altar!" "That was seven years ago!" "Seven years?" Soren's eyes glowed a dangerous gold. "Do you have any idea what seven years of that pain is like? Do you understand that torment?" Julian took a step forward, his own silver-grey eyes blazing. "Of course I do! Because I love her, too!"

Outside the city moved through its Tuesday evening. Seven days.

Childishly, she stomps on it with her heeled boot to appease her rage before letting out a small scream of frustration. I watch her make a dramatic exit before stepping out from between the shelves a couple of seconds later, eyes cautiously searching just in case. Shaking my head in amusement I trace my way back to the storefront and settle on one of the sofa’s to read. I feel the need to arm myself with a lot of knowledge now that I know what I could become, the first book I’d picked is called History of Elementals. On the first page is the beautiful design of the black interlaced knots in the middle of the page. Seeing the knot, I’m reminded of my black triquetra tattoo and shift uncomfort
