Once a Doormat, Now Untouchable

Once a Doormat, Now Untouchable

Excitement, because if it were true, the Hampton and Hutton families would, in a sense, become in-laws. But fear, too. With Penelope's vindictive nature, she might say anything in front of the Huttons to make the Hamptons look bad. The more Adeline thought about it, the more uneasy she became. Unable to sleep, she went downstairs for some water and found the foyer light still on. "Cal?" She froze when she saw him there, suitcase in hand, changing his shoes to leave. "It's the middle of the night. Where are you going?"

so far I love how strong Sydney is and all she needs now is the devoted man to make everything else set in stone. she doesn't need a man but her having one completely devoted to her will make this story perfect, but it is really good so far.

This book needs to pick up speed. One chapter a day is slow to say the least. Not to mention that new story lines are constantly being added without completely ending older stories and developed characters seem to disappear. Is this an author issue or an app issue to secure reader subscriptions?

She fetched her book, sat on the bed, leaned back, and resumed reading. Her eyes grew heavier and heavier. She finally set the book on the bedside table, pulled up the blanket, and closed her eyes. ***

“Okay, big girl, you can roam around alone. Give any of us a call if you need something.” “Of course!” After breakfast, Tyrus goes out to meet his friend, and Brent and Esther go into their rooms. Seeing her chance, Adeline slips out of the house and starts walking up to the town market. She doesn't know where the old auditorium is, but she asks a few people, and they point her to it.
