Luna’s Second Chance

Luna’s Second Chance

“You still got time to change your mind.” I shook my head. “No. I don’t.” He nodded like he already knew I’d say that. Minutes stretched into miles. The city fell away, swallowed by dark roads and towering trees. The deeper we went, the heavier the air felt. Like something was watching. Like the land itself knew what I was. I glanced at him. “Where’s the book?” Elijah exhaled through his nose, then reached into the glove compartment, pulling it out. The Book of the White Wolf.

A circle of coal still smolders. Nya steps barefoot into the embers. Around her, wolves halt mid-task. Conversations die. Even Maera stops stirring her healing tinctures as the silence thickens. Ceres (gasping softly): "She's walking through fire... as if it doesn't see her."

Life After Prison

Life After Prison

Severin speculated that the abode of that fallen royal paragon might be significant in more ways than one. Myles then whispered, "According to rumors, he is Wildfire, a royal paragon who met his demise thousands of years ago." "Wildfire?" Severin's eyes widened at that revelation. Wildfire was renowned as the foremost unaffiliated practitioner in Southsky tens of thousands of years ago. He had gained widespread recognition throughout Southsky after becoming a supreme paragon. In his early years, Wildfire ventured from Southsky to Midland, Westland, and Eastland. His mastery over fire-based techniques was simply peerless. When he returned to Southsky in later years, he established a very powe

This storyline has some interesting characters. Jada and Easton are so busy ranting and raving about Severin and Edward is making a complete donkey out of them. This is a good book. I know it’s ongoing but so far I am enjoying it. Do not miss an exciting book if you’re looking for something goo.

one of the best novels of this site. well written and great story. The only problem is Monday you get a lot of pages and chapters, and the rest of the week you get a page a day. Come on the author and this site can do better. Really about to stop reading because of this.

The Howl of Blood and Fire

The Howl of Blood and Fire

Stripes. Burning across my body like fire. The air itself seemed to change. The wolves hesitated. Just for a second. That was their mistake. I moved. Faster than before. Stronger. Unstoppable. I tore through them. No hesitation now. No strategy. Just dominance. One after another. They fell. Until only one remained. Celdor stepped forward. Finally. I tilted my head slightly, blood dripping from my jaw. “You should have stayed hidden.” He didn’t respond.

The Vitale Brothers Ruined Me, Then Made Me Their Queen

The Vitale Brothers Ruined Me, Then Made Me Their Queen

A fire is crackling there, fighting the damp chill of the sea air. I throw the box in. It lands on the logs. The white cardboard begins to brown. The tissue paper curls. Then the lace catches. It doesn't burn like normal fabric. It flares. Green and blue flames lick up the chimney. The smell of burning chemicals fills the room, sharp and acrid, choking out the smell of old books. Ciro coughs, covering his mouth with his arm. I don't move. I watch it burn. I watch the white turn to black ash.

*Last chapter! Yay! So someone is going to die. I know, spoiler much? Jsyk, I am crying way more than you are, if you do ಥ╭╮ಥ Listening to Before you go by Lewis Capaldi * * It was not easy at first. Having to pull men through tents and snap their heads, because there was a high possibility they would heal again. Yet he had to be thankful for the twins. Who psychotically, and happily set them on fire or drove Icicles through their head.

THE FIRE LORD

THE FIRE LORD

What if it was true and not just some wild thought “Then I’ll pick you up jeez, you won’t even waste your car’s fuel” Rumors have it that if your blood is mutated, you get killed at night and your body is never found. I jumped up in fright after reading that, what if I’m mutated and I get killed “I’m having none of this” I whispered “Dude really?” I heard Sebastian grumble. I then remembered that I was speaking to someone on the phone “Uhm, you were saying?” I asked in an apologetic tone

Frequently Asked Questions

The novel 'White Fire' is this intense psychological thriller that hooked me from the first chapter. It follows a forensic psychologist, Dr. Corrie Swanson, who stumbles upon a century-old mystery tied to a gruesome crime in an abandoned mining town. The way Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child weave together historical elements with modern forensic science is just brilliant—it feels like 'Silence of the Lambs' meets 'The Alienist.'

What really got me was the dual timeline structure. One thread digs into a 19th-century cannibalism case involving silver miners, while the present-day plot has Corrie racing against time as her investigation awakens something sinister. The descriptions of the Rocky Mountain setting are so vivid, you can almost feel the icy wind cutting through the pages. I binged it in two nights because I kept needing to know how the past and present collided.
