Dante's Pov Security had the feed up on a tablet by the time we reached the stairwell. I looked at it before we went down. The lobby camera was angled wide. Cassian was on his knees in the centre of the marble floor with both hands loose at his sides. The journalist from the morning appointment was near the reception desk with a recorder out. "He planned this," I said. "He planned the knees and the cameras," Valerie said beside me. "He thinks public humiliation is a lever."

She can’t focus on the raging old lady who thinks highly of herself that she can degrade other people as she likes. Rowena speaks again this time louder but Cassandra, for the second time puts a finger on her own lips, asks her to shut up and show her palm to ask her to wait a bit. Rowena looks at the hand, with her eyes narrowed and her brows look furiate. The bodyguards, the secretary all think that Cassandra will die soon, she just slapped the pride of the old tiger. Cassandra found her phone, the first thing she saw was the text message she received from Rachel. “I sold you off. Sorry.”

Cassandra's POV After meeting Marcus's sister and finding out what Marcus had been doing to me, it seemed like my world had come to end. Everything was ruined; all my dreams had been shattered, my best friend betrayed me and I was presently pregnant for her boyfriend. I had to move on regardless of all those happenings and without a single doubt, I knew that I couldn't abort my pregnancy. Even if I were to be offered the whole world and even Marcus, I still wouldn't murder my own blood, not to mention killing my child just to please a friend who betrayed me.

Valentina screams and sobs. “I have considered your request. Here is my mercy.” I rip the Katana out and he falls limp on the floor. His body thuds against the ground. Andros moves to check his pulse and gives me one nod to tell me he is dead. “Please, Cass, I promise it was all Curtis and the Santos’s idea to do what we did to you. It will never happen again. I swear to you on my life.” She is begging again and I just watch her. I grab her up on her feet.

Her body was covered in bruises, and she was sobbing helplessly. If I had been just a few seconds late… “You bastard!” he shouted, reaching for the gun near the bed. I was too shocked to react, but Dexon wasn’t. He aimed his pistol and shot first. The man collapsed, blood pouring from his head. I fell to my knees as I watched Cassandra roll away from the body and crawl under the bed, crying uncontrollably. “Cassie!” Cassandra’s mother ran into the room as soon as the gunfire stopped. No more shots had been fired in the last few minutes, but I remained frozen, unable to move.

Cassandra POV “Don’t worry, Cassandra. You’re safe now. Everything will be okay after this. I will take care of you.” Scarlet hugged me while whispering some motivating words to calm me down. I saw the police pushed him from behind with a handcuff on him. He acted aggressively and attacking people around him. Due to the uncontrolled situation, he was shot. I looked at his dead body on the ground in disbelief.

Cassandra sneered, advancing like she’d already won. As Cassandra stepped closer, Eureka kicked her shin. Cassandra cried out and bent over. Eureka pushed herself up, but Cassandra yanked her hair, slamming her against a nearby pole. Blood oozed from Eureka’s forehead where it hit the pole, blurring her vision as it trickled down her face. Raymond lunged forward, grabbing Cassandra by the waist and pushing her to the ground. “Fuck you, Raymond!” Cassandra spat, grabbing a gun nearby. Before she could cock it, Eureka threw a shoe, knocking the weapon away.

She took down 10 men on her own as the monster she is. Black asked his boys to get everyone in the Villa to safety and he warned everyone not to dare call the police. The fire was getting too much and Cassandra didn’t allow anyone to move closer to the building. Tyson knew Cassandra would result to fire since she used it during the first attack so he was quick to call the fire brigade. Black went head-on with Cassandra not minding the bullets and she didn’t stop firing. A billet got him on his chest and he shot at Cassandra twice too. Tyson shot her once and Black rounded it up with a shot through her forehead.
