Why Choose Romance Books Novels & Stories

Nothing beat that feeling of reading a French book. I wasn’t much of a reader. I got bored easily. But if I had to choose between books and movies, I would pick books. At least books let me imagine things my own way. I walked into a small bookstore near the hotel. The bell above the door rang softly. “Bonjour,” the woman behind the counter smiled. “Hi,” I smiled back awkwardly. I walked around slowly, running my fingers over the spines of the books. Romance. Crime. Fantasy. Self-help. I picked up three random ones. All about love.

she said. I smiled and put the bookmark back into my book. I was right in the middle of a juicy scene, but I knew that Mina wasn't going to give me time to finish it. Sure enough… “Why do you read those things anyway?” Mina asked, getting a glimpse of the cover of the book. “You'd be better off keeping up with world news. Those silly romance novels are just filler.” I raised an eyebrow at her. “Because you do s such a good job keeping up with world news?”

"I have been holding back for weeks. Coming here. Talking. Waiting for the right moment. I do not want to rush you, Isabella. But I only have eyes for you. No one else." I swallowed. The library felt smaller, the air too felt thicker. "I notice you too. More than I probably should. When you come in here, you always pick the table near the window. You pretend to read but you watch me when you think I am not looking." "Because I cannot help it." His voice came out husky. He glanced around. The library was empty except for us. "You are beautiful when you concentrate. The little frown on you features, the way you squint your eyes to read, the way your hair falls across your shoulder.

“How chivalrous of you, I didn’t expect for you to pick up a smut book like that to read.” “I presume you have read them too?” “I read them out of curiosity, and it was the love story is what I was more interested in. It had nothing to do with the sex scenes, it was the connection between the two characters that had me read it multiple times.” Why did I just say that to him? I’m an idiot he’s gonna know I am into those sorts of books. But for the reason I said yeah, I enjoy the smut and spice in them but it’s the romance connection that has me wanting to read them.

I arrive and see that it's almost closing, I don't waste time and go in looking in detail at each book there. I don't know how to choose books, to tell you the truth I don't even like them and I've never imagined myself in a bookstore, but if my female likes it, my duty is to buy them even at the bookstore if that's what she wants. I choose a few romances and dramas, types of books I've seen my partner read many times and is likely to enjoy. In all, there were six books that with great difficulty I managed to choose, I ask the girl who works there to wrap them with the gift papers I brought and put the ribbons and bows too.

Maybe at Shanice place. After sating her hunger, she hopped onto her bed. As a routine, she grabbed her novel from the table, parted the book to where she had left off last night, and began reading. She loved reading romance novels. The MLs in these books are so different than the real-life men. The love they show feels so pure. She wondered if she would ever get to experience that kind of love. The thought caused her feeling giddy. She wants her man to be possessive, a little bit obsessive, and hella romantic. Someone who will kiss the ground she walks on. Someone who will choose her and only her every time. She will be his first choice.

I'll just harbor resentment up until he does. I turn the pages of The Notebook, gazing lovingly at it and carefully reading each word. Although I've never been a fan of the romance genre, when I was in the shop earlier today, this book drew my attention and for some reason, it seemed far more interesting than it ever had. I've been unable to put it down since I started reading it.

"Everything. Classic literature, poetry, philosophy, even some romance novels I'm not ashamed to admit I've read." Rosa smiled, a blush covering her face. "A man who reads romance? That's rare." "What can I say? I'm a romantic at heart." Nicolas smiled at her. "Besides, who doesn't want to believe in love that conquers all?" "Maybe we could read something together sometime," Rosa said without thinking, then blushed. "I mean, like a book club. Discuss chapters as we go." Nicolas's smile widened. "I'd love that. It's been too long since I had someone to share books with."

And it's not like her voice has changed. If I didn’t know better, I wouldn’t think anything had changed, but it must have, right? Love changes people. At least, that’s what the books tell me. Honestly, I’ve never been one for romance. And I only read such novels because I read everything else. But those kinds of books never proved practical. I always found them too silly. Even in terms of the fantastical, romance stories were a little much for my tastes. I don’t think I’d like to be in love if it’s anything like the books. I’d instead never do it.

I busy myself by reading the latest, number one best-selling romance novel I downloaded from Amazon for the trip. I don't normally read for entertainment. I read for work, for research, or for news. I thought this would make for good vacation reading. It was overwhelming, trying to choose the perfect book. I was not looking for sappy fantasy relationships where the world seems perfect. I chose a rough guy, a spunky woman, and a relationship of opposites full of turmoil. I am five chapters in as we land in Kansas City.
