Billionaire, Let's Divorce!

Billionaire, Let's Divorce!

He chuckled as if to say we hadn't even heard half of it, "And then there was the time I got lost in a snowstorm. I had to take shelter in a cave, and I spent the night huddled next to a fire, listening to the wolves howl outside." Aiden's voice piped up in curiosity. Tonight, he insisted on staying close to my side and I thought it was nice of him. "How did you manage to survive?" Mr. Jenkins grinned, "Well, I've spent years honing my wilderness skills. I know how to navigate, find food, and start a fire without matches. But I'll tell you, it was a harrowing experience." As he spoke, I was captivated by his stories. The whole room listened with rapt attention, our imaginations transported t

The book is good. However, it's way too long. this could have been broken up into three or more books. I stopped reading after the Sydney and Mark story. The mix-up of names throughout the story got confusing, and then it went right into Aiden and his girlfriends story.

it’s honestly so ridiculous — it’s like he’s now an uncle to the baby. It’s confusing and disappointing that the author still made Mark and Sydney end up together. It felt like the author wasn’t sure who the male lead was supposed to be — and that’s when the story got messy.

A Love Worth Fighting For

A Love Worth Fighting For

The cryptic references to the prophecy, the implications of hidden dangers, these only amplified the unsettling uncertainty about the future. As days bled into nights, the wilderness became her teacher, her adversary, her confidante. She learned to track her prey, to identify edible plants, to find shelter from the elements. She honed her survival skills to a razor’s edge, relying on instinct and grit to navigate the treacherous terrain. The journey was not just a physical one; it was a spiritual odyssey, a relentless stripping away of the false sense of security and privilege she’d known in the Silvermoon Pack.

FEMALE APHA'S STOLEN BIRTHRIGHT

FEMALE APHA'S STOLEN BIRTHRIGHT

Northwestern Montana, Cabinet Wilderness Dennis didn’t know why he’d survived the beast’s attack, any more than he understood how he’d survived three tours of ’Nam when so many of his friends, his comrades, had not. Maybe his survival both times was just luck or maybe fate had other things in store for him. Like another thirty years wandering alone in the woods.

Twin Alpha Kings Pup Mate

Twin Alpha Kings Pup Mate

The world blurs around me as we dart through the forest, dodging trees and leaping over roots and streams. The wilderness is both an ally and an obstacle, providing cover and challenging us with its unpredictable terrain. My wolf's instincts are sharp, her senses hyper-alert, every sight, sound, and scent magnified. She senses water bodies before we see them, hears the rustle of small creatures in the underbrush, and smells the approach of other predators—though none as dangerous as the ones we're fleeing from.

Rebirth: What’s Left Of Me

Rebirth: What’s Left Of Me

He quickly dropped the matches and moved closer to me, but the fear was still evident in his eyes. "Stop trying to light wet sticks. You need four times more tinder if you want to get anything started. Save your energy," I advised, trying to ignore the ache in my body. "When did you become a boy scout?" Jared's voice shook, and I could see the way he was still desperately trying to maintain control over his emotions. "Seriously, how do you know that?" "If you're ever on your own, you need to know how to survive," I said, sitting up slowly, still feeling like shit. The pain in my leg was bearable for now, but my body was exhausted.

The Rejected Luna is the Goddess' Blessed

The Rejected Luna is the Goddess' Blessed

It didn’t take a while for the other teams to complete, and then they set off. Just like the instructor said, she took them almost everywhere, told them about certain habits of animals, where to find a temporary home, and generally how to remain alive outside the camp. Mallory didn’t listen to her. Unlike the sheltered pack werewolves, she has been wandering from pack to pack, and the situation forced her to learn basic survival skills out in the forest. She took the scenery in her eyes and thought of a plan. It seems like the sneaking plan is completely scraped off. She’ll have all the time for herself in the hunt, anyway. However, she still needs the plant for surveillance. But…

Reborn in the Freeze: My Million-Dollar Shelter Begins with

"Really? I'm going to learn how to fight?" "Not just fight," Clara said. "Survive. There's more to staying alive than knowing how to throw a punch. You need to know how to start a fire, purify water, build a shelter, navigate by the stars. You need to know how to read the land, how to anticipate danger, how to trust your instincts." Mira nodded, her expression serious. "I'm ready," she said. "Teach me everything."

Silver Throne Rising

Silver Throne Rising

And every night, I heard howls in the distance: rogues, wild animals, or worse. But I kept moving north. Always north. The compass became my lifeline, and my mother’s journal my constant companion. Each night, new instructions appeared on its pages: how to start a fire without matches when mine ran out, which plants were safe to eat, how to hide my scent trail from pursuing wolves. You’re doing well, my brave girl,* the journal read on the third night. But your body is reaching its limits. Tomorrow, you’ll need to rest. There’s a safe place ahead: a clearing with a freshwater spring. Stop there.

Daddy's Obsession (Filthy Daddies Collection)

Instead, she was lost in the Alaskan wilderness with a dead satellite phone, a camera with a cracked lens, and about six hours until hypothermia turned her into a very photogenic corpse. "This is fine," she told herself, her teeth chattering so hard she could barely get the words out. "This is totally fine. People survive in worse conditions all the time." Except those people usually had things like matches that worked and tents that weren't currently tumbling down a ravine because she'd set them up wrong. Also, those people probably hadn't ignored every single piece of advice from their guide before said guide had abandoned them for being "difficult and unwilling to follow basic safety prot

A Substituted Bride But A Fated Luna

A Substituted Bride But A Fated Luna

When the morning sun finally pierced the mist, I opened my eyes to see the vampire gone, frightened away by the light. And so, I survived in the wilderness. I learned quickly: to live here, I had to shed any trace of humanity, embrace my animal instincts. Before I had a wolf, I survived by following the forest’s predators, scavenging the remains of their hunts. Sometimes, I roasted scraps over a meager flame. Even the smallest bit of flesh was precious, and I gnawed on bones, savoring every sliver. There were darker days, when nothing fresh could be found. I’d convince myself I was a hyena, eating half-rotten meat if necessary, despite the sickness that followed. It kept me alive.
