Winter Spring Summer Or Fall Novels & Stories

“I’m not going in anymore. It’s blazing hot outside. Holidays are approaching, but the weather’s still so hot.” “It’s Wiltspoon for you. It’s not even cold during winter, let alone fall. We used to find the four seasons here distinct, but it’s been getting warmer each year,” Jasmine said.

I can feel it in my bones. What does this mean? Real estate—at least single-family home sales—normally fall in the colder months. No one wants to move while little Johnny and Jill are in school. May through August is the hot season when buying a family home. I've never studied the trends for commercial sales. Are they the same or can they increase at any time of the year?

She closed the door behind them as they went and sat down. Winona looked around. “How about this? I don’t have my whole team here right now. I wanted to see what, if anything, was happening.” She looked at her calendar. “We can come back in October when it’s cooler, and they are all on fall break. How does that sound?” “When’s that?” “Fall break happens the same weekend as Columbus day. They get a very long weekend plus their day of no classes. That should be enough time.” She looked at Stephanie.

IZZY POV Spring is a short season in the mountains. It tends to go straight from winter to summer and this year was no exception. It seemed as if I went to bed with snow on the ground and woke up with flowers blooming in the planters next to my front door.

A soft voice, just barely audible, floated between my conscious and unconscious state. ‘Winter. Winter, don’t worry. I’ll always be here for you. Stay strong, Winter. Stay strong…’

Katia looks at Aza, “Who is the world is that? How does she know us?” “I have an idea and if I am right, you are in for a big surprise.” Aza laughs, licking Katia’s face. Just then, the darkness gives way to the brightest sunlight Katia and Aza have ever seen. They are in the middle of a glade full of so many different colored flowers and types of trees. Looking in one direction, it looks like spring with all the pastel-colored florals and new growth. Baby birds are in their nest squawking for their next meal and all kinds of animal young are running and playing. In the area of land directly beside spring, it is summer with the dark hues of green grass and the darker bright colors of the leav

Soon, old scandals resurfaced, banks withdrew loans, partners abandoned ship, and reporters besieged the mansion. Kirk updated me. "Richard blames it all on Olive, saying she colluded with outsiders to drain the company. Liam and Neal have cut ties with the Winters and are being hunted by Richard's enemies." I paused on a page—an equity certificate for a biotech company my mother owned. In my past life, Richard had obsessed over it but couldn't unlock its technological secrets. I closed the file. "Time to let him know what it feels like to lose everything." Three days later, the Winters Group declared bankruptcy.

Wendy stating the obvious, "and neither of us wants to wait another nineteen years." "Definitely not." I replied firmly. "My task is nearing the end and if you want to wait..." "I'll wait." My turn to sound desperate. "We can retire early, both of us, maybe in a few years, and spend our Winter together." "Just one winter?" My hopes had been raised then dashed. "Our Winter." Wendy said. "I believe our lives have four seasons. Our first time was Spring, our second was Summer this is our Fall and when I return we have Winter."

Chelsea asked him. "Yes." Russell sipped some water. "Spring is a slack season. During the New Year holiday, many people go to their hometowns to unite with their families, so there are much fewer customers. Summer is a busy season. Everyone has more nightlife, and a bar is a good place to escape the summer heat. Winter isn't as busy as summer, but there are many foreign festivals in winter, so the profit is also good." Chelsea seemed interested in the topic. "The yearly net profit will be over 1.5 million dollars."

“Have it while it’s warm.” Miles suddenly rose to his feet and walked into the kitchen, picking up that apron. The fabric was soft, carrying a faint scent of cooking smoke. He clenched it in his hands, then let go. The rain fell harder, streaking the windows. Trees outside bent and swayed in the wind. Miles stood by the window, staring at his reflection. He suddenly remembered how terrified Wendy had been of thunderstorms. On rainy days, she used to curl up in his arms, burying her face in his chest.
