However, he never showed himself, leaving me with no chance to vent my frustration. This absurd routine continued until the Snowcrest New Year. It was the grandest festival on the Snowcrest Plateau. To my surprise, John did not show up. By the time the sun was setting, I overheard people talking. Another avalanche had struck the Skyspire Mountains. My eyelid twitched. A moment later, the neighbor’s daughter spotted me and asked in surprise, “Dr. Summer, isn’t that handsome guy with you? He went to get you a gift, didn’t he?”

Five days after Orion's promise, the kingdom woke to a different sort of morning. The sharp bite that had lingered through winter was gone. The air felt lighter somehow. Easier. Windows stood open throughout parts of the city. Merchants no longer wrapped themselves in three layers before stepping outside. Children had resumed their favorite hobby of ignoring weather entirely. And everywhere, signs of spring continued appearing— slowly, patiently and inevitably.

He sounded apologetic as he said, "Elyse, an urgent meeting came up. I can't go with you to pick the dress. Can we postpone it for a few days? I—" "We can't," I cut him off softly. There was a pause, then his tone softened. "Elyse, don't be difficult. I really can't leave now. You know I've been swamped—" "I'm going today to pick the new dress. I'm not changing the wedding date either. It's the day after tomorrow," I said. He froze for a moment. "Wait, what?" I replied, "I've already started notifying friends and family. We're getting married on February 23rd."

“Vivian, I have told you many times. Marriage and children are not part of my plans for the next few years. “This baby came at the wrong time. Let us not keep it for now. When the timing is better in the future, we can talk about it again, okay?” As I listened to those cold words, I felt, for the first time, that the man in front of me was a stranger. In the past, no matter how unreasonable his demands were, the second I saw him angry, I always gave in without hesitation.

This novel is owned by Ailana Misha Please, don’t copy and remake! Summer had come, the cold of winter seemed to disappear when the change of season began on December. Many types of summer flowers bloomed in this hot weather, even a lot of people had already scheduled outdoor vacations on weekends.

Now he had a chance to find out first hand what it was like. ‘Wow, it’s hard to tell in a few words really. It’s different.’ Evie thought hard about how to describe the difference. ‘The climate is different. It differs in various parts of the Earth. We have seasons: winter, summer, spring, and autumn. Spring is wonderful. There are new leaves and flowers, everything wakes up to life, the colors are so fresh and vivid. Most parts of the planet are not as hot as Sirius and it is really cold on both poles. A lot colder than here in the mountains.’ Ethan looked at Evie’s radiant face with fascination. She became quite excited and her voice enthusiastic.

It was a lovely winter summers day in the city of gold; the August cold fronts had started to blow in and pass through but it was beginning to look and feel like spring, minus the icy cold weather .Besides everybody trying to keep warm, there was work to do, the traffic was horrendous as always if it wasn't an accident or a stationary truck it was traffic backed up for a kilometer cause of traffic lights being off. Getting to work or school was a mission for anyone whether they made it on time or late ,by the end of the day the same scenario repeated itself with less buzz around stalls opening and stores closing. Only this time it is a mission getting back home.

There was a time when people could enjoy all the Seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Each Season represented an element: Spring for Air, Summer for Earth, Autumn for Fire and Winter for Water. And every person could control just one element. That's why there were four nations, four Kingdoms. In the North was the Water Kingdom, East was Earth, South was Fire, and West was Air. In the centre of the Kingdoms was The Four Seasons Market. Favourite place of most, signs of peace and prosperity, every day full of people from all over the lands.

You and our baby will be fine. "But what if I am not?" "Don't ever say that!" He sits up straight and takes both of my hands into his. "My beloved, you will be here as the Spring showers start to fall, the birds start to sing, and the flowers start to bloom. You will be here in Summer to enjoy the sun on your face, the flowers, the fresh-cut grass, the insanely beautiful summer storms, and rainbows. As Fall begins to come around the corner, you will be here to enjoy the crisp air; you will watch the leaves fall from the trees. You will be here to enjoy each moment."

“Time to wake up.” I open my eyes slowly, inhaling the scent of the blooming Nasturtiums on my balcony. A cool spring breeze blows in from outside, lifting my curtains and cooling my overheated body. It’s almost summer. My favourite season. It means spending hours in the cold pond by the waterfall, baking in the sun, letting my wolf out to run free.
