I said quickly, trying to convince her. Hell no, that I was going to lose this opportunity to get what I wanted. The plan was already in motion, and it wouldn't make sense if I kept delaying it. "Okay, if you say so." She said and crouched to inspect some flowers. "I love this one," She said, pointing to a flower, " Xavier said. It's called a dragon flower. The way it snaps open and close when touched is amazing, wouldn't you agree, Alicia?" She said breezily.

he walks off and kneels next to a small patch of Crimson Beebalm. Crimson Beebalm is a stunning flower. The petals are long and slender and they come out of a hairy looking center that is connected green leaves that look like they support the bud and a long smooth green stem. Best of all, it’s edible so I’ll be collecting some of it for the camp. Wait, what did he say? “It’s obviously either red or yellow, I don’t know of any grey muted colored flowers, the center even looks black.”

"Yea? It's a lily? What about it?" My answer made him snicker as he turned his head in my direction. "It's not a lily. It's called Elnea. It's a flower tended to by the flora fairies that used to follow Eleanor's orders. The sword was what Eleanor knew how to use the best. Eleanor smells like Elnea." So, the flowery scent I smell on Eleanor is Elnea? "So, it has nothing to do with your glory?"

"It wants a universe that *renews*. No more Hunger. No more Silence. Just... growth." The heart contracts, spraying liquid light. Where droplets hit the ground, flowers erupt-mutant things with teeth and talons. The Bloom isn't a Seed. It's a *collector*. --- **The Fractured Chorus** The survivors who followed us fall first. Talin reaches for a flower, its petals cooing like a dove. It bites off his fingers. Chaos erupt, the flowers attacking, their roots spearing through chests and skulls. Lira watches, delighted, as the lattice absorbs the dead, their faces joining the chorus in the thorns.

It's just for show, for my parents' sake.] [And hey, you promised not to go to the Ocean Sonata Cup, right? Stick with that. Stay home and we'll have our own time.] [Holly, I love you.] Holly had been on the balcony when she read that. If she had not seen Luke tenderly pick up a flower that slipped into Cecilia's hair and tucked it away like a treasured keepsake, she might have kept fooling herself into believing Luke still cared for her.

Vernon had returned, looking exhausted. He was even holding a bouquet of fresh flowers. He walked toward me with no trace of guilt or remorse. "Avril, I brought you your favorite roses." Red roses represented sincere and passionate love. Right now, those flowers looked like a joke in Vernon's hands. I accepted the roses. Thinking that I was no longer angry, Vernon began to explain. "It's Peggy Cahill. She's been diagnosed with bone cancer. All she wants is to marry me.

“Remember when you fell down this staircase last time? Let’s see… what you’ll do when it happens again.” Freya was not a fool and would not fall for the same trick twice. The railing was carved with intricate flower motifs with thorny ends that tore her skin and clothes. She felt a wave of pain sweep through her, followed by the disgrace of having been outmaneuvered.

Tears still clung to my long lashes, glistening with each tremble of my eyelids, adding to my pitiable appearance. The blouse I wore, torn apart by the thugs, left patches of my fair skin exposed, shimmering under the fleeting streetlights outside. My skin was so pale it seemed almost luminous. Paired with my bright red lips, there was a disheveled yet striking allure, like a delicate flower caught in a storm. It evoked a man's primal urge and a deep desire to protect.
