" My both mom and dad are a witch. Why would I be a half-blood? I have powers." suddenly I let out the words. I closed my mouth when she gave me a killing-look with her eyes.

'Wamlisia,' Kamryn sounded grim and I tensed in my posture. Wamlisia was an elemental witch, one of the two strongest witches to be ever born. She could control almost all known elements and she was also the one who wrote the book of prophecies. The book that now I retained and the world has been looking for it. How my mother came to possess it was something beyond me.

I whisper, unsure if she can hear me in her unconscious state. I take the book from her arms and open it. I skim through it, anger boiling in me as I read it’s entries. This is why Alpha Jake wanted the book. He wants that potion, meaning he is working with dark witches. I turn to the back of the book and find there are some pages stuck together. I carefully pull them apart and my eyes widen with surprise.

“Uh, Joel?” He grinned and shook his head. “Yes, you’re a witch, but you’re not a witch to me. You’re not like the other witches.
