"It's your promise, Sevina... You must never break it." The words from the late Queen hovered in her head as Queen Sevina mused about her decisions. She had given her word to the previous King and Queen and it was a rule among the witches to always live up to their promise. If she did one thing that would betray them, she would lose her immortality and her freedom... she would be sent back to Mysticia and will no longer be given the chance to see the humans again. It was one thing she didn't want to ever happen, and that was why she took the risk and agreed to everything.

Merlin pushed one arm forward, her palm facing out, sending a rush of wind towards the other witch causing her to stagger backwards before she quickly regained her footing. "You disappoint me Merlin, I was expecting a fight", she sneered, walking towards Merlin as she raised her hand again and clenched her fist. Merlin, who had managed to get to her feet, held out both hands, pushing out with her palms as another gust of wind, shrieked down between the bookshelves, lifting the dark witch into the air and hurling her backwards into the far wall. Merlin’s eyes seemed to glow a fluorescent green as tiny green flames danced and flickered in their emerald depths.
