Another duck followed behind them, clumsy and late. My eyes remained on my Wife, as she laughed softly. “They are…” she pointed at them, “They are so cute…” I nodded. The scene of the pond was nothing special to me, but the laugh of my Wife was everything to me. Near the pond, a few rabbits also moved around freely in the small fenced area. One was white with light brown ears, and another was grey. Its nose twitched a little as it sniffed the ground. We walked closer to them, and Valerie knelt down slowly and said, “They are not scared.”

I point out to a vague shape, swimming towards him, his brows furrow as he tries to understand what exactly I’m talking about. I swim to him, he does a weird kick in the water, waddling away from me. Almost as if he can sense me coming. “A rabbit?” he asks in pleasant surprise. What surprises me is the soft chuckle he gives. I smile at him. He didn’t give that to Daniel. Good. I walked on, looking for anything significant or out of place. The spinning, whirling rides, the game stands, the blinking lights - they were all too obvious. Too busy. I opened my eyes frustrated. "It's not working." Liam smiled and gently said, "Try again."

Its mangy brown fur stood in strange patches, as though bitten off by disease, or worse.
