Wizard Reading Books Novels & Stories

Better than nothing. I go out into the library, hunting through the rows of books for metaphysical and wraiths. There would be more information at Hallowhaven Academy, but there isn't enough time to go all the way there and back. Besides, I'm worried that Decan or Walsh will catch me and refuse to let me leave again. With a pile of books, I head to an empty table in the back. The first two books were all about chakras and reiki. Next three books were about sacred space, Wicca, and a fiction book about ghost hunters that had been re-shelved wrong.

"They have, ever since she was born." Cassandra set the little serpent among the piles of gold coins. The creature sagged in defeat and exhaustion after lying before that terrible fire. "There it is," Vasilisa's voice came from behind a mountain of walnut-sized raw rubies. It wasn't hard to find the book. It was placed on a golden stand in between two golden Sirin statues. The grimoire turned out to be the largest book Cassandra had ever seen, with pages made of parchment illuminated with tracery, and it was open to a page thickly covered with elegant, intricate writing.

"Just in case you do not know, I'm a witch, not like you na ipinanganak na may kakayahang kakaiba. I was born a wizard, at kaya kong mag-manifest ng iba't ibang spells, using my guide. I can only do magic with scrolls, unlike you guys na nasa kamay niyo na ang ability." May mga witch palang nage-exist. "Today, we'll learn different spells, basic spells, to be exact." She paused and took out a stick?????????????? "Rectrio." Saad niya tapos biglang may nag-appear na books sa table namin. It looks ancient. I opened the book, and was shocked that I literally can read the charcters within the book kahit unfamiliar pa ito sa 'kin. "Gago, ano 'to?" Rinig kong saad ni Axie.

He scrambled around his bag and brought out a book, “This is the book of the ancient. It is filled with wisdom of sages, wizards and witches too. Once you can be done with this book, I tell you that you will be knowledgeable in the art of magic” he presented the Alpha with it. The book was quite heavy and looked Old but the Alpha knew that it was a priced treasure that needed to be kept privately. “So for one to be a wizard, it requires a lot of sacrifice ranging from physical to mental and lastly emotional sacrifice. Lest I forget, haven’t you seen your mate just yet” the Old man interjected in his statement.

Mia—quiet werewolf girl, amber eyes, book already open, notebook covered in doodles of moons and paws. She nods shy—offers half-smile, ears twitching under glamour. Class starts—Shakespeare intro. But whispers follow. “Seras’s brother.” “Fire wizard.” “Think he’s as strong as her?” “Bet he can’t even light a candle without burning his hand.” I focus on notes. Sparks dance on pen tip—controlled, tiny flame writing words in glowing script before fading. Mia glances—eyes curious. **Mia (whisper):** “Neat trick.”

Anna clicked her tongue, "so tell me, Anita, who wrote the four books?" "The books were written by Adele," Anita said, "your grandmother. The first queen of the witches. That is when you were really Zaekyr." She said. "Adele?" Anna stared at her. "Yes. But she only wrote the first three books." Anita said and hesitated, "As you can see the last book is full of dangerous magics and spells, including the death spell, that's why you can't memorize anyone of them and that's why the book was not able to be copied into different pages, because the writers would inevitably learn the spells and die before they can learn to control it."

Yesterday had gone well, but there’d been a moment where it was touch and go and my blood runs cold every time I think about what could have happened if I lost control and the mages got their powers back. “What’s wrong?” Soren finally asks with a small frown. I’ve been pacing like a caged tiger and he’s been very patiently trying to ignore me while attempting to read. Hilda found the book in the huge library Arlo’s pack has tucked away in an underground fortress and tasked him with checking whether it contains anything useful. Apparently we’re not the first werewolves to have a run-in with mages. The book is titled: Illusions and How to Dispel them. So far it hasn’t offered up anything of pr

“Nirvana, you’re here.” I turned around and saw Dylan. “Hey. How long you’ve been here.” We hugged each other. “Yesterday. Congrats, by the way. I’m happy for both of you.” “Thanks. So what are you doing here?” “Apparently, Zarah forgot to mention the Alpha King had vast collections of books, and I read some of her Grimoire and other Wiccan books.” “What’s Grimoire? Wiccan?” “Book of spells, Book of magic. Wiccans are people who believe in supernatural magic,” Aira answered. She looked like a girl you just wanted to sit with on the couch, had some margaritas, and talked all day.

The vampires were arriving a week earlier than expected and the preparations still weren’t completed. I suddenly remembered the story of “The Wizard of Oz”. It was one of my favorites. My mother read it to me regularly and, when I was old enough I read it on my own, I did so over and over again. I loved the way Dorothy was able to click her heels and return to the safety of her home. How I longed to be Dorothy just then.

Only a sharp need that made my fingers shake as I reached for the first book. I headed straight down to the back section, the one where the shelves were bent under the weight of thick and dusty books that most wolves avoided. The air here was heavier, and thicker, as if knowledge itself had weight. If there was any information about witches, especially dangerous ones like Zaira, it would be hidden somewhere in these forgotten books. The first book I pulled was useless. The Lineage of Crescent Moon Wolves. Good for understanding bloodlines maybe, but not what I needed.
