MINE BEFORE THE BLOOD MOON

MINE BEFORE THE BLOOD MOON

Shut up. A scream woke us just before dawn. We moved instantly. Weapons drawn. The sound came again—female, terrified, human. We raced toward it. Forest blurred. Branches whipped past. Snow exploded under our boots. The scream cut off. A terrible sign. We burst into a clearing and froze. Bodies. Dozens. Scattered across the snow. Not dead. Petrified. Every victim stood frozen, faces locked between terror and shock, as if turned to statues. Cold settled in my stomach. Wrong. Everything felt wrong. Diana approached one carefully, then stepped back. Fear entered her eyes. “What is it?” Her voice was barely a whisper. “A Stone Wraith.” Silence. Auren cursed. The immortal actually cursed. That wa

The Rejected Luna's Twin Alphas

The Rejected Luna's Twin Alphas

“They’ve locked the Node in a self-destructive feedback loop. It’s absorbing its own energy and burning out from the inside. We can’t transmit the sterilization cancellation code to the atmosphere until we break the obsidian and free the crystal to resonate at its natural frequency.” But as we stepped tentatively toward the dark pillar, the shadows at the very edge of the hall began to lengthen, detach themselves from the stones, and move toward us. They weren’t the bio-mechanical soldiers of the Vane Corporation, and they weren't the mercury-mutated Hollowed. They were the Wraiths of the North.

The Abandoned Luna's Return

The Abandoned Luna's Return

Where its face should have been, there was only a hollow mask of ice. It was a Void-Wraith. But it wasn't alone. Behind it, hundreds more began to drift out of the darkness, their long, spindly fingers reaching for us. They didn't want to kill us; they wanted to eat the heat we had created. They were the scavengers of the Between, and we had just rung the dinner bell with our passion. "Get behind me!" Silas ordered. He swung his spear, a wave of darkness cutting through the first row of wraiths. They dissipated into mist, but they reformed almost instantly. They were like smoke—you couldn't kill them with physical weapons.

The Art Of Dying

The Art Of Dying

They crashed into the wraiths like a black wave, tearing and rending. But wraiths weren't like normal enemies. They reformed almost instantly, their torn pieces pulling back together like liquid. Axel's flames had more effect. The wraiths recoiled from the fire, screeching in voices that hurt to hear. Willow and Walter fought back-to-back, their weapons moving in perfect coordination. Brady and Marcus supported them, covering their flanks. But there were too many wraiths, and more were appearing from the fog. Drawn by the commotion, by the scent of living souls in t

My Monster

My Monster

My best friend tells me, her voice trembling with worry. Quickly, I squeeze my eyes shut, tightening my grip on Cora's. I'm slowly losing my mind, unsure of what's going on. There are still students around, so how are we being attacked right now? Cora's back collides with mine, our fingers entwined. "What are those things?" I ask her. Her voice shakes when she speaks, her trembling fingers squeezing mine. "They are fearwraiths," Cora whispers. "Creatures that feeds on fear. The more terrified you are, the stronger it becomes. And when it takes enough fear from you... you fall into a coma. Then eventually..." Her breathing shudders, "...eternal sleep."

Okay so I won't lie, I was tempted to stop reading at one point. I felt it was going slower than I like, and I didn't understand why this super strong tribrid was the way he was. BOY WAS I IN FOR IT. I'm glad I didn't stop reading. That twist was.. WOW. Was NOT expecting it. I enjoyed this story!
Katrina Hofstadter
I loved this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author and the next book of this saga. The author doesn't leave an question unanswered or unnecessarily drag the story out. The ability to keep the continuity of the story from beginning to end, was spot on. A great read!

Running Away with Alpha's Baby Bump

Running Away with Alpha's Baby Bump

“Positions!” The pack scrambled into formation. The sound grew louder, like the hum of hundreds of bees under the skin of the earth. The mist thickened again, swirling in unnatural patterns. I reached for Kael. “It’s him, isn’t it? Ronan?” Lyra shook her head. “No. Something worse. He’s summoned the Wraiths.” Before Kael could ask, the first shape appeared, tall, skeletal, cloaked in black smoke. Eyes like embers burned in the darkness beneath its hood. Then another. And another. A dozen.

The Lycan King's Outcast Omega

The Lycan King's Outcast Omega

Garrett The change in the forest is subtle at first. A chill in the air that has nothing to do with temperature. The way shadows seem to linger too long, stretch too far. "We're close," Iris murmurs, her shields shimmering faintly as she reinforces them. "The wraith's influence is everywhere here." "Stay alert," I command the team. "Malcolm, Sera—flanking positions. Fitz—" The attack comes before I can finish the order. They burst from the shadows—twisted things that might have once been wolves but are now something else. Lesser wraiths, Iris had called them in her research. Creatures that feed on the main wraith's power, extensions of its will.

Bound by Vows and Vendetta

Bound by Vows and Vendetta

“The one hidden behind the Benedetti sigil. It says a willing heir must choose death for the line to break.” I stepped forward. “You’re not dying for anyone.” “But what if I’m the lock and the price?” “No,” I growled. “I’ve bled too much. Burned too long. No one else dies for my war.” Her folded her arms. “It’s not just about you anymore.” She stared hard at me. ~~~~~~~~~~ By dawn, the strike team had arrived—silent shadows from a past most men had forgotten. They were the invisible Wraiths. Once called ghosts. Now summoned back to erase history’s mistake.

Crowned by the Moon, Rejected by the Alpha.

Crowned by the Moon, Rejected by the Alpha.

The whole room shifted, almost like the darkness was thick enough to chew. That’s when his creatures began slinking out from the cracks—ghastly things, never touched by sun or moon, more bad idea than living being. They whispered and hissed and slithered, crawling so close the air itself felt soggy with malice. Front of the pack, his prize pet: a wraith, face nothing but a yawning black pit, shrouded in wisps of living smoke. "Master," it rasped, sounding like a bad wind through a cemetery. “Did you call?”

Sacrifice Of The Heart

Sacrifice Of The Heart

“We make a stand here.” Lucian’s jaw clenched, but he nodded. There was no use arguing. They couldn’t keep running forever. Elara forced herself to breathe, to push past the fear clawing at her throat. She would not be weak. Not now. Not when something far worse was coming. A shiver rippled down her spine as the air grew thick with unnatural cold. The shadows around them moved. Then, they stepped forward. Five wraiths, emerging from the dark like twisted reflections of the dead. Their bodies flickered between forms—half-shadow, half-decayed flesh. But their eyes… their eyes burned with the same blue fire she had seen in the throne room.
