Williams said as they rushed out. Williams couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen Raph drive like this. He knew Raph used to race, but this was something else. “Watch out!” Williams yelled as a car suddenly appeared at the junction. “Way ahead of you,” Raph said smoothly, dodging it with ease. “Where’s the car?” Raph asked. “We’re close, but if we hit this traffic, we’ll lose them,” Williams said, worry written on his face. “Relax, man. I’ve got this,” Raph grinned.

The quiet stretched, heavy with everything unsaid. The next few days passed in sharp, vivid bursts. One evening Jax decided they needed to blow off steam. “Race me,” he said, tossing her a helmet outside the garage. His eyes gleamed with challenge. “Loser owes the winner whatever they want tonight.” Hazel grinned, adrenaline already spiking. They tore out of the compound on their black Harleys, engines roaring as they hit the twisting back roads. Wind whipped her hair under the helmet, the PROPERTY OF REAPER vest tight against her chest.

“It was good knowing you.” In a minute, that gorgeous bike would be smashed to smithereens. The thing with werewolf motorbike races–it started with a motorbike and ended in wolf form. The rule was that halfway through the race, the bikers would shift into their wolf and do the final round of the race. Extra points for those who ruin their bikes in the process. It sounded messed up, but to witness those giant beasts as they shifted and smashed the living daylights out of a metal machine their size was a thrill beyond comparison.

I managed to avoid some, but many hit my tires. My friends are really annoying sometimes; they don't know how to play fair. Thankfully, I'm always prepared. I quickly took out my dagger and opened the window of my car. I targeted the wheel of Ryker's car in front, and boom, three daggers hit it, causing its speed to decrease. In fact, my speed was faster now. All of our cars had significant damage, so the race wasn't as fast-paced anymore, and my tire was close to getting flat. Logan, Keenan, and Van were already out; it seems their cars got heavily damaged.

Cursing under my breath, I pressed the accelerator as the engines started and my car moved forward. Carlo was very skilled with the wheel, and even with a velocity of one hundred twenty degrees, I was not catching up, or maybe I was still too distracted to hit the brakes properly. We were to run around a sectioned tiled road with burning short metal tanks as delineators. "Come on, step on it!" I heard Ronnie yell at Carlo, who was clearly overjoyed to have the heads-up; winning this would result in a large sum of money. Even though I was spoiled and wealthy, racing allowed me to earn my own money.

I knew what was at stake in this race, and the thought of Tyler losing was almost too much to bear. Tyler's Camaro wasn't far behind, its powerful engine roaring as it raced to catch up. As they approached a particularly tight corner, I held my breath, fearing the worst. But somehow, they managed to navigate the turn with expert precision, narrowly avoiding a collision. Despite Tyler's best efforts, Ricky's Porsche maintained its lead, the gap between the two cars widening with each passing second. With skillful drive, Tyler managed to lead the race but when I thought everything was going well, Ricky resorted to dirty tactics, his car swerving dangerously close to Tyler's Camaro. I gasped in

So, we followed the two vampires, Wesley and Ashton, to what they called the race track, which turned out to be a winding mountain road outside the bar. "The rules are simple. “Well, how about we agree to disagree and smoke the asswipes?” Our cars raced around the track on the projection screen television. I’d decided to have Roy over instead of going to detention. Playing Forza 4 sounded a hell of a lot better than sitting in some smelly, nasty, stinky room with Rae fucking Cleaver. And we had a good race going, too. I shot up from my chair, walking closer to the projector screen as we came upon our competition.
