Writing A Romance Novel Outline Novels & Stories

I continue my work and I have a good progress. I decided to email my proposed title and outline to Ms. Amanda and I’m a bit nervous. I hope she will like it. I’m confident with my work but knowing Ms. Amanda she is a very strict and I don’t know what really catches her attention or what her taste about a novel. I decided to make a romance novel about a girl that left on her wedding day to pursue her dreams and after a long time will meet again her past lover.

Let me read what changes to her plot. An hour later, I finish reading her story, and it's good. It piques my attention. She has already fixed her grammar and other error. Should I challenge her a bit? I want her to be the best before she marries me. So I will tell her that it's good and I'll rechallenge her to a new plot. Let's me see what kind of plot I should give to her? Angsty romance? No, it doesn't suit her. I know now! Since she is a model, let's make it more interesting. I'll give her the plot to turn into a novel with 60k words that contain two thousand words per chapter.

Some characters would still be introduced in other chapters, but their roles would be significantly less than the ones I have already introduced. Naomi: Part two would be when the romance kicks in. It would start from Chapter twenty and stop at chapter forty, hopefully. It would be mostly filler Chapters, and we would get to know the true side and motives of some characters. There would be romance, heartbreak and betrayal, and I would also leave a lot of surprises too. I hope you are a fan of cliffhangers.

“Why is it so dark? Please, turn on the lights, Anth.” I hesitated before pressing the soft buttons of the light switch and then the room brightened up. I heard her gasp first before my eyes took in the rose petals and unlit candles on the floor and on various pieces of furniture in the living room. The romantic setting of the place made my nervousness spike higher than before. “Did you do this?” I pushed every ounce of nervousness from my body and approached her then wrapped my arms around her shoulder. "Ahh! Yeah, I remember how's your novel going on? Are you planning to put it as an entry for this coming International Contest?" I took my laptop, open it and handed it to her. " Look, it's kind of plain right now. I don't have any inspiration at the moment." She took my laptop and read my outline and prologue. The genre of my novel is Drama and at the moment I can't feel too much drama and that is why I barely have something to write on. After reading my outline, she looked at me and smiles awkwardly while closing my laptop, I knew it. "Uhm, you can still work on it, right? I mean it's okay but it's a little bit too plain if you'd ask me."

Alex sat down at his desk, turned on the light, and began reading. Eight hours later, he finished the final chapter. Alex was no expert on romance novels, but Rachel’s writing could convince him to become an avid fan. She was good. Damn good, he thought, but an important element seemed to be lacking. Rachel’s descriptions and dialogue were colorful and dramatic, but, in Alex’s opinion, the leading male character was a bit bland, and he lacked any real emotional depth for a romantic hero.
