The Wrong Person

The Wrong Person

Jaime Barthes was the only son of the wealthiest family in Hartow City. Ever since he was a child, he could have anything he wanted. On his fifteenth birthday, he fell for Eden Hawthorn the moment he first saw her. Right then and there, he boldly declared, "She belongs to me, and nobody should ever think about touching her!" During the entire decade of their marriage, he was obsessively protective of her. She was forbidden from any kind of interaction with men, and she had to employ the help of her assistant for something as mundane as handing a report to a male colleague. Everyone assumed this was simply Jaime's love language. One day, he caught a terminal disease. The entire nation fr

Eli reached across the table and took my hand. "That's already wrong," he said. "Because I've already seen the real Adrian. He's the one who fights when something matters. He's the one who eventually admits when he's wrong. He's the one who's willing to risk comfort to do something right. That Adrian is worth knowing." "You might change your mind," I said.

Ethan said in a sharp tone. Gabriel inhaled deeply. "I made a mistake, Ethan. I let my pride and fear make me not think straight. I turned you down because I didn't think I was good enough to be loved by you. But now I can see that it was a big mistake. You are my true soul mate, and I love you." Amelia walked forward with tears in her eyes. "And I have to be honest with you, Ethan. You have the wrong idea about me. I have secrets that could make a big difference."

Maybe Wrong, Maybe Right

“Oh…shut up.” Smiling, he lightly bumped me with his shoulder, but he quickly turned serious again. “Prepare yourself. A marking is a bloody, brutal thing…don’t expect unicorn farts and angel song. It’s going to hurt, and when your wolf surfaces, it’s going to be sheer agony.”

P. I quickly explained that all of my knowledge came from one source only, my best friend Karsyn was a football fan and always dragged me along to watch the games. “Well if you ask me I’m glad you know who I am. The only problem now is I am at a disadvantage.” He said this so calmly yet his eyes showed a bit of flirtation in them. How could he Mr. MVP be at a disadvantage? He was famous and well known while I was nobody. I looked at him questioningly, “Why are you at a disadvantage?” He smiled as his eyes sparkled then leaned in closer and said, “While I find it flattering that you know me, it makes me wish I knew who you were. Now I have nothing to flatter you with.”

Unwanted

Unwanted

Showing weakness was out of the question, and I knew it. "Has Isabelle reached out?" I asked Gwen with a smile, and she looked at me and shook her head. "No. I am checking out the adverts and the forms. I can't believe the effrontery these people have to do what they are doing. The joke about the sun is beginning to get to me. They were the ones that made our territory unsafe. It is their fault that we have to hide our wolves underground, so they do not have to fight and get hurt. This is their fault, and they want to use it against us. I can't wait to get that bastard," she said, and I smiled at her. Gwen will always be Gwen. She is just as impatient as Mason. Thank goddess they had me to b

I really enjoyed this book, and the characters in it. The plots were complex and kept me guessing. Imagine my surprise when I came all the way to the end and discovered the book was never finished! There apparently haven’t been any updates in over 6 months. Very disappointing.

Sinful Obsessions: Short Filthy Stories

Sinful Obsessions: Short Filthy Stories

“I'm…I'm fine.” “No, you aren't fine, did I do something? We're you hurt? What's wrong?” “I cheated on my husband,” I said flatly. “With his best friend. In his house. That is what’s wrong.” Gideon was quiet for a moment. Then he turned me around gently so I had to look at him. He was still shirtless, grey joggers hanging low on his hips, hair messy. His eyes were soft but not sorry. “I understand you,” he said. “I was there.”

WRONG ROOM

WRONG ROOM

For the first time in years, Raymond saw genuine shock on his uncle’s face. “What did you say?” Raymond looked at him calmly. “I said fine.” William stared at him as if he had suddenly started speaking another language. “You agree?” “Yes.” “You agree to the match?” “Yes.” William’s mouth parted slightly. Raymond almost smiled. This was probably the first time in Raymond’s adult life that he had agreed to one of William’s marriage suggestions without argument. William slowly sat back. “Have you been poisoned?” “No.” “Are you ill?” “No.”
