The elevator doors open, and I walk through the garage to reach my parking spot. “Doce?” X's voice comes from behind me, making me turn around, startled. He smiles, admiring my black satin sheath dress, and then says, “I'm very happy to see that Pandora's words didn't affect you.” “What are you doing here, X?” I ask, still surprised to see him dressed in a black tuxedo, standing in my building's garage. “I came to see you... Chapter 22: The Echo of the Duke ​The creature in the doorway didn't have a face. It was a shifting mass of bronze gears and jagged glass, held together by a flickering white light that made the shadows in the basement scream. Another gene floating around, just as strong as the werewolf one. “Impossible,” I say as I jump away from the microscope.

She could hear animalistic sounds coming from outside and while she was glad that they had not been killed, she wasn’t so sure about this time. She could hear the snapping of bones and she knew that the fight got more serious than it was before. Right outside, Alpha Xander stood above Alpha Norman. “Spare me please.” He begged. Xander wanted to spare him so he could be an example to other Alphas who wanted to be over ambitious. He needed to remind them that this was his territory and nothing happened without his permission. But then he looked at the three girls whose lifeless bodies lay in the grass. He made up his mind.

It's a very small amount but he still has it." She then looked at Damien,"even though Xavier is the father of your baby, your baby has Theo's genes as well... Same thing, it's a very small amount, but your baby still has it.
