A TASTE FROM THE POPULAR HOCKEY PLAYER

HUNTER I thought it ended there, i really thought it did, but when the heart get too invested in something, it kills the soul and don’t let it be until it’s crushed completely I wanted mine dead at all cost I wanted to be able to look at him and feel nothing I wanted to be normal again, to be peaceful, to hate him, or at least see him as other human beings, like the rest of my teammate, like the rest of the motherfuckers that exist in this school

The Vampire's Blind Mate

The Vampire's Blind Mate

"I should kill you shouldn't I? A life for a life but then it wouldn't hurt as much" My fingers skim across her chest slowly as I think about the amount of damage I could do, would do considering all I can hear at the moment, think and feel is Yuuki's pain. It's overwhelming and deep. Agonizing even. Tortured. My nails tear into her chest before running across her body. Deep enough yet still not satisfying even as tears stream down her face. Light simmers at her fingers and I smile. Maybe I'm a little unhinged right now. Because has no idea how much I want her to suffer.

Faking the Mate Bond

Faking the Mate Bond

“Are you hurting me more?” She shook her head, mocking me with a laugh. “Hurting me? Is that all you care about? You really think you are entitled to hurt me, don’t you? Can’t blame you. I already know how low you can stoop to do whatever you think should happen to me. But I am sorry Saint Kazeal de Luca, you will never hurt me more than I am hurting right now. A thousand deaths wouldn’t compare to the pain I am going through right now. And I know it will burn you, so I will let you know you haven’t caused it!”

I LOVE this book so much! It was a great start, then it had a huge twist that I thought at first I wasn’t going to like, but it was soooo good! I couldn’t put it down and read it in like 3 days up until it’s close to the end as it’s not quite finished. It’s well worth the read!!

“Or let me just do the easiest way and just kill you right now. Either way, I still get what I want. But where's the fun in that?” I shut my eyes close, ready to accept my fate. “Don’t hurt him!” Fuck!

Obsessed

I yelled as I hit my fist on his chest, he flew across and fell to the hard ground. I looked down to find Death. I was wrong. It wasn't Chris who held me, it was that man I had a lot of hate in my heart for . “You devil!!.” I yelled as the earth I stood on began to shake. I was consumed with fire, my eyes were burning literally , I ran towards Death. “You killed him!!.” I yelled as I launched at him, I wasn't going to spare him, if he couldn’t die I am going to hurt him.

When the Plot Ends, Everyone Regrets Hurting Me

When the Plot Ends, Everyone Regrets Hurting Me

"From now on, Blaire will be Alicia's daughter. It's not your place to interfere with how she disciplines her!" What a bunch of shameless nonsense. Rage overwhelmed me. My already weak body finally reached its limit, and I coughed up a mouthful of blood. As my consciousness blurred, the sound of hurried footsteps came from afar. Then, I fell into a familiar, warm embrace. "You people must have a death wish! How dare you do this to the Cooper family's daughter?"

Frequently Asked Questions

If I had to bottle the whole mood of 'Even in Death, You Want to Hurt Me' it would taste like black tea left out overnight — bitter, complicated, and oddly addictive.

The story follows a protagonist who is betrayed so deeply by someone they loved that death itself doesn’t stop the fallout. After dying (or being erased from the life they knew), they come back in some form — ghost, revenant, or living witness to their former lover’s continued life — and the book leans into revenge, haunting, and the messy mixture of love and vindictiveness. It’s not a straightforward murder-mystery; it’s a portrait of how cruelty can echo, how guilt and grief twist people, and how sometimes the person you want to hurt most is the one who hurt you first. The narrative alternates between memory-laced flashbacks and cold, present-day retribution, so the emotional beats land like slow bruises.

I loved how it doesn’t glamorize the pain. There’s room for empathy — for both the wounded and the wounder — and the ending lets you sit with uneasy feelings instead of neatly tying them up. It made me think about how grudges can become part of your afterlife, in a way, and I can’t stop thinking about one scene where a simple keepsake becomes an instrument of reckoning. That stuck with me long after I closed the book.
