YOU ARE MENTAL

YOU ARE MENTAL

It was quiet for a minute before he apparently concluded something as stood back up. “What?” I asked him. “I think I know something that will make that fade faster.” He told. I looked down at the scar before returning my gaze to Nico. “There’s no way to fully get rid of it is there?” Nico shook his head. “No, despite what the medical industry has tried, scars for humans stay there. I could have done something the night it happened to have prevented it from scarring, but I wasn’t thinking straight. Not to mention that Xanders bites are sloppy to begin with.”

Living with His Mark

Living with His Mark

I just nod my head at him in reply as we both get up into the jeep. We make it to the beginning of the float and I hop out and make my way toward Xavier as Christian is next to my brother. I greet Xavier with a quick kiss and wrap my arms around his torso. “Is it dumb I missed you?” A huge smile forms on his lips as he shakes his head. I step away so I can slip my cover up off my body, there are several gasps and a few growls, one distinctly louder than the rest. I turn and see so many eyes on me, a few in Lust but others are in shock and horror. The scars, they see the scars and they can see clearly what they say. The light scars show vividly against my tan skin.

I wish I read this book before I read the 2nd book because the 2nd book isn't finished and hasn't been updated in awhile. If anything can go wrong in a story, it did in this book! The author had me glued to figure out how all these twists and turns were going to work themselves out. Must read!!

Scales and Scars

Scales and Scars

I could feel his member pushing on my thigh through the jeans. He lifted me up slightly removing my shirt. His eyes widened as he saw the scar covering from my shoulder to the bottom of my ribs. I had forgotten about it in the moment. I could sense his anger rolling off him as he focused on the imperfections of my body. He leaned in and kissed me passionately. I felt his bare chest press against mine as my body gushed, soaking my panties. A deep groan came from his chest as if he knew exactly what he was doing to me.

The Masked Symphony of Mrs. Luther

The Masked Symphony of Mrs. Luther

he retorted, a hint of confusion tainting his voice. "Well, typically, scars that have been present for over a decade tend to gradually fade due to metabolic processes," Gwyneth replied, recalling the scar she had observed at the hospital. She was certain she hadn't misjudged it. Elizabeth's scar couldn't be more than a few years old at most. Furthermore, burns and scalds affected muscles differently, with scalds generally healing faster.

Lacy joins him, and you can tell from her fighting style she is her father's daughter. I hear a scream from behind me. I turn, and I see a scarred-faced elderly woman running toward me with a syringe in her hand. I grab her writs and snap it. Then I feel a burning stab in my back shoulder right in my Alpha mark. I look over my shoulder, and Nox is about to pull out the knife and stab me again. I toss the old woman to the ground and punch Nox square in the nose. He stumbles back, and his eyes are watering. It gives me a chance to pull the knife out of my back. As soon as the blade is out, I can feel it start to heal. Wolves heal quickly, but with my enhanced fae healing, this silver was nothi

Loved this story and I love me some Gideon! Super strong female that doesn’t take garbage behavior lying down nor does she excuse repugnant behavior because of a mate bond. If you love well written plots with characters you love, hate and love to hate, a touch of smut and some cute twins, read this!

This has been very intriguing to say the least. The writing style changes frequently in all the best ways. Jessica is able to illustrate very lively imagery at times, move the story quickly at others, and use a vernacular in ways that do not ultimately detract the reader from the story. I want more!

Three Scars:Betrayed by the Don

Three Scars:Betrayed by the Don

I was Gavin Whitestone’s treasure for ten years. Then he abandoned me for another woman three times, and I finally saw the truth. I didn't love him anymore. I have three scars. Each one is named Gavin Whitestone. The first is just below my ribs, from a shootout two years ago. Sofia Bianchi ran out of a corner and took a bullet for Gavin. It hit her arm. Gavin sent every doctor in the city to her side, while I was left in a dark corner, pressing my hand to my stomach to keep myself from bleeding out from a piece of shrapnel.

"Yeah. He lost a lot of blood." Scars crossed the room and stopped a couple of feet away. His eyes dropped to the bandage on my arm before lifting to my face. His jaw tightened, but he didn’t comment on it. “How is Xavia?” I asked quietly. Scars hesitated only for a second. “She’s okay. Still coming down from it, but she’s safe.” A small pause. “You need anything?” he asked. “My dad,” I said quietly. “I need to call him.”

The scarred Luna

The scarred Luna

she said, glancing at me, “if you could heal someone that is close to death… maybe you can fix scars too.” The room quieted just a little. I followed her gaze and realized what she was talking about. My scar. The old burn mark that curved down from the corner of my jaw to my neck—a part of my past I had tried to hide but couldn’t erase. I instinctively reached up, fingers brushing the edge of it. I hated that thing. I hated what it reminded me of. Rachael tilted her head. “I’m just saying… wouldn’t it be kind of amazing if you could heal yourself too?”
