I breathed, forcing a breathless laugh out of my throat.
“I thought you were in the asylum. Did they let you out, or do they let lunatics out for a midnight stroll?”
“The only lunatic in this room is the little girl who thought she could bury my son and live his life,” Yelena returned, her voice didn't waver. Not a single tremor.
“I've been waiting for you to come for this. I knew your greed wouldn't let you leave without the one thing that could destroy you.”
“Give it to me, Yelena,” I snarled, my desperation bleeding out as my claws came out in a snap. “You’re sick, you're confused. That drive is the property of Collins industries.”
