"Uh, okay." He did the transformation. She watched intently. He was on the ground on all fours when she approached. He rolled to his back. She rubbed his belly and she thought she saw a smile. Can bears smile? He looked at her, his tongue lolling out of the side of his mouth. He really liked what she was doing. So this was Wyatt. He could turn into a bear. He put his large paw on her arm and she looked into the bear's eyes. She could see his humanity. She could see Wyatt in there.

Like, he once fought a godd*mn brown bear in the forest with his own fists, completely topless, and won! Beating up this pipsqueak? Piece of cak—”

They quickly run forward, and they are the last people so other members who are with him in front would be helping him but that doesn't mean they shouldn't insist anyway. They run till they are now sighting them, "It's a bear" Kamdiri said. "It would be hard to kill it without the psyraid" Ike said as they were watching them battling with the bear till it is almost trying to chew Mikel who was its main target. Chike draw out his psyraid pistol and give one shot from that far position and the bear was seen lying lifeless and the ground as they sighted the three of them from that place and Kamdiri waves at them.

"COME AND GET ME, THORNE!" The forest groaned. The trees appeared to turn away towards my voice. Next to me, Kai turned into a giant beast of black hair and violet eyes. He was a grizzly bear, and his muscles rolled like granite under his coat. Once he struck my hand with his forehead--no word, no sound, but a rough vow--and then looked at the tree-line. The first fifty appeared. One of the grey wolves, starving and starving in a mean way, and with a sick-yellow look in his eyes. He sprang out of the brush, with jaws open to my throat.

The vendor glanced warily left and right, confirming no one was watching, before gesturing for the beastkin to approach. This was a wolfhound beastkin. He was tall and slender, with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. When he stood, he blocked out the bar lights, which cast a shadow over me. Before I could react, the vendor yanked the crude collar around his neck, forcing him to his knees before removing the rusty muzzle.

The only other light leaks in through countless tiny cracks in the stick walls. Kai was partly right about not expecting much, but what he should have said was not to expect anything. There’s absolutely nothing in here except two large, furry animal hides that cover half the dirt floor. From their size and the thick brown fur with its distinctive black speckles, I realize they’re werebear hides. Having seen Kai in action, I’m only a little surprised to see that his people hunt the fearsome beasts. When another figure jumped from right behind me, catching the bear mid-lunge, I only raised my head when I heard a painful whimper coming from the bear and the sickening sounds of bones cracking. Before me, Kael was holding the bear meters from the ground, the latter slumped, blood dripping from its mouth. "Woah..." I muttered without thinking, and Kael discarded the dead animal, a mild look of disgust flashing in his eyes. "That's so cool," I added when he locked eyes with me. Kael didn't look too pleased.
