Jotham, Silveran capital 2030 Hazel's multicolored eyes glowed fiercely like the flames of a thousand furnaces, the thunder storm increasing in it's intensity. Yuka and Kai stared at her, amazed. "Yuka? W-what's going on?" Hazel asked. She was starting to panic and this emotion fueled her powers. Kai flinched at the sound of a terrifying thunder clap. Yuka held out a hand to Hazel, his gaze locked with hers.

Camden Reyes and Knoxx Javellana, both first class police officers nodded and saluted as they went towards their assigned posts. Every year, the City of Light holds an annual Auction Party at the Sugoi Coliseum, but this is the first time that a certain Ahmya Yamato will be attending. The Yamatos are widely classified as Dark-Cored Yozas, but since it's an auction and the Yamatos are an extremely wealthy family that managed to keep their wealth throughout the years, she had been allowed to come. Police Officers have been dispatched at the party to make sure that this isn't just some plan to start a war.

He had been surrounded by the world's top killers, and even several world-class snipers had been sent there. With so many super masters working together, even if the Azrael Mu Yu was omnipotent, he would not be able to escape from death even if he was surrounded by so many peerless masters. "Humph! You want to scare me? Ridiculous!" Miyamoto Shinei smiled disdainfully. Yang Xiao shrugged helplessly. "You don't believe me? It seems that I need to go to Japan to check the waterwatch when I have time!" "Ha!" Shinichi Miyamoto sneered again.

“We are a few of those chosen players! We must win and take everyone back!” “I didn’t know watching too much movies is dangerous to your brain,” Geodie kidded, setting some distance between her and Yuri just in case a physical response would happen. I fully understood her, though. Yuri always exchanged everything with physical contacts, that’s why you better prepare yourself or else suffer from her wrath. When you made her laugh, she’d slap you hard. When you made her angry, she’d pin you with her whetted fingernails. When you annoyed her, she’d pinch your ears. Yes, ears; left, and right—she’d pinch them both at the same time. The pain she could cause may not be as intense as what Geodie co

There was something about his laugh that made her feel all tingly inside, like nothing she’d ever experienced before. “I never said I’d just stand still and let you kill me, but I have a feeling, when you see what I want to show you that you won’t want to kill me after all.” Nya couldn’t imagine a situation where she wouldn’t want to kill him--if what she thought he had done was reality. The longer she spoke to him, however, the more she began to wonder if everything her father had ever told her about a Dragon Moon wasn’t true. “I’ll be the judge of that,” Nya said.

They always used hushed tones to avoid Hibiki hearing them, and I guess they used Japanese so dad wouldn’t understand them and know what nefarious things they are plotting. “I still can’t believe it.” I shook my head as I focused on my game of Overwatch. “I’m telling you it’s true. She told me herself. Yūri was a Yakuza. A legend in her youth.” Forrest said, taking down an Ana from the opposing team. “Somehow, it doesn’t surprise me. You’ve seen that look in her eyes when she talks about taking out Ryōta. That’s the look of someone who’s taken a life.” Darius shrugged as his character took down an Orisa.

But when Draco paid closer attention, the stone statues of the children with red collars moved and jumped around covertly with movements so fast that the human eye could hardly saw them. “The children's statues are alive! Are they a type of youkai?" said Draco with a fixed gaze. “It's a Warabe Jizo type youkai. They enjoy protecting children and survivors,” Gale replied. “That red collar? What does it mean?" Draco asked curiously. "Oh, the red collar is a plea for all children and survivors to be saved," Gale replied, smiling. "The power of pleading," Draco said, understanding the energy source of the Warabe Jizo youkai.

I can't wait to get my hands on you. ______________ Jordan's P.O.V. Anya and I are passed out on the couch in my office when I get a mindlink. "Men and wolves are coming through the forest toward the house. They look like they're preparing for an attack." Calvin says. He's an owl and our best watchman. We may be a group of misfits, but we're a family. I sit up, and Anya opens her eyes. "What's wrong?" she asks sleepily. I want to tell her to go back to sleep, but I think she may be safer by my side rather than in here. Besides, I don't want her to kick my ass if I make the suggestion that she stay away from the fighting.

A tidal wave crashing free. The sanctuary amplified it tenfold. Pillars groaned and splintered as blinding light detonated through the room. A shockwave hurled two of the Watchers back like ragdolls. Their bodies crunched against the stone walls with bone-shattering force. Cracks spiderwebbed across the ancient rock. Dust and debris rained down in a chaotic haze. The third Watcher held his ground. Barely. His mask fractured down the middle. A sliver of something grotesque showed beneath. Skin like shadowed marble. Eyes glowing with otherworldly hate. "Impossible," he rasped. His voice cracked for the first time.
