This life again
Death whispers in my mind.
I'm half surprised that he's speaking to me, when I feel a tiny spark. It's small that at first I think I imagined it. But then I seek it out, finding it again.
And as I cup my hands and grab it, it flames up in my hands. It roars and crackles, waiting for my command.
Heal her, I beg it, I need you to heal her.
The fire, as if understanding me, leaves my hand, fire being pulled from my body. Something within me tries to stop to fight it off.
