“Can you tell me where to find her?” The sound of wood scraping wood meets my ears, as if a door has opened. Then, the door slams shut with a loud thwack. I blow out a breath. I know when I’ve been told to fuck off. Damn it. I kick a stone as my boots crunch over the stones to my truck. I have a name. That’s it. Still. Damn. After all this time, I don’t have to wonder. I have a name. I have a True Mate.

I glared at him, lifting my hand to show him I was serious. He quickly spoke up. "My name is Zain. Zain Ahmed." He smiled at me, taking a few steps closer to me. I raised an eyebrow at him. "And how do I know you?" I asked. He stopped walking towards me, at a few meters away when he realized that I didn't appreciate the closeness.

"Hmm? But, unlike you, I only have one name. It's Rory." "Really. You'd keep playing with me even if you know that I already know about it, Isla Therese?"

I swallow hard at the motion and just stare into the darkness of the hood, searching for any glimpse of the rest of his face above his mouth. “Who are you?” I plead quietly. “I told you. I’m a Friend. And you can call me Izzy.” “But do I know you?! I dont know any Izzy’s.” “Izzy is just a nickname that very few people call me. And yes, you know me. But most importantly, I know you.” He tilts my chin up.

I yell though something within is pulling me to actually ask the person what they wanted from me. "I'm not arguing with you, Arianna Zora Nor." I bite my lips and pause when I hear what the person called me. People only called me Arianna Nor around here so if this person knows that my name is Zora then it could only mean that they knew me very well. "How do you know that? How do you know that is my name?" I question no longer interested in living.

Deep breaths in and out, I closed my eyes to regain control. “You are the first person I am saying about this. Pls, don’t say a word to another.” I grabbed my mobile and admitted it to my friend. “I feel like I might faint.” Ignoring whatever she had written after her “OMG” message, I let my phone slide from my lap to my feet and hid my face in my palms. Before I had a minute to myself…or maybe to faint, I was startled by a surprised guy’s voice “M, what the Hell?”
