Behind him was a lanky man who held a staff and a younger man with a muscular build. “Are you lost, kid?” the lanky man asked showing his teeth set which had a few gaps from the missing ones. “No. I’m on my way to the north,” Dio coldly said as he inserted both his hands into his pockets. “He’s a traveler, Boss.” The young man grinned as he looked at Dio’s pockets. “Do you have something to share with us?” the middle-aged man who seemed to be their leader asked him. Dio pulled the insides of his pockets to show them that he had nothing. “A few weeks ago, I became an orphan when I lost the only family I had in a fire. I was left with nothing, you know?”

They shot him in the legs and the hands, then hauled him toward the trunk of his father's car. The warriors had to be furious, thinking they'd really been following the Patriarch's orders when the old man had practically been held prisoner in his own room.
