The Last Station Standing

The Last Station Standing

Elara commanded. Miller lunged at her, but Kazimir intercepted him with a brutal, efficient strike. The two men crashed into the consoles as sparks flew from the shattered vacuum tubes. Mina scrambled to the patch-bay, her fingers flying as she tried to help Elara align the Precursor-Frequency (the specific vibration used by the ancient race). "I have the carrier wave!" Mina yelled over the roar of the static. "Elara, talk to them!" Elara closed her eyes. She reached into the "Hidden File" in her mind, pulling out the Quarantine-Bypass Code.

ACE OF HEARTS

ACE OF HEARTS

He is the boss of this warehouse doll, we need you to give the code to this beauty that is here beside me. It's not necessary, I can give you the key, Oscar let go of my hand and turned me around so that his eyes collided with mine, his stained hands leaving painted in my hand where he held me. Do you know the code? he asked. I nodded. My father was an idiot, he believed that I would never come here again, That was what he deserved, revenge. The Code is 925 GFG. Oscar smiled, as he typed the number and the box gave way, I memorized the code when I was a child, because my dad guarded everything my mother earned, although She would try to convince him to give her a little to feed me.

Alpha's Claim, Omega's Surrender

Alpha's Claim, Omega's Surrender

"I ruined the cuff during the summit. Coffee. I'm changing. Don't be so dramatic." "I'll just... look at the market research then." "Stay there. I'll be out in a second." "Grant, wait. Go to the VTN ROOM. The code is 0825. Grab the healing salve from the table." "0825? That's still your code? It hasn't changed in years." "Just get the medicine, Reed."

Nobody Messes with the Code Master

Nobody Messes with the Code Master

When I walked out of the server room, the entire technical department was waiting at the door, erupting into thunderous applause. "Rex is unstoppable!" "Rex is the God of Code!" "That's the real tech master!" I looked at their faces. Some of them had once treated me with cold indifference. Now, they greeted me with eager smiles. "Rex, let's have tea sometime?" "Rex, there's a tech salon this weekend. Would you honor us with your presence?" "Rex, could you give me some guidance on my project?" I declined them all politely and only nodded to the outsourced colleagues who had once stood by me.

The Debt of the Widow

The Debt of the Widow

She leaned in, her lips brushing his ear, her voice a ghost of a sound that the Council’s microphones could never catch. "The Kill-Code for the Vessel," she whispered. "It’s not a number, Dante. It’s a sequence in the Vane lullaby. Frequency 442. If you broadcast it on the open channel, the clones don't just stop. They detonate. All of them. Including the ones on the ships." Dante pulled back, his eyes searching hers. A slow, lethal light began to burn in his pupils. He reached for his comms unit, his knuckles turning a bloodless white. "Sing it to me," he commanded.

Bound by Vows and Vendetta

Then opened them to the skyline. A flicker in the distance. Not fire. Not war. A shimmer. Like code reassembling. Like memory finding its voice again. ~~~~~~~~~~ "We are not bound by blood. We are not ruled by names. We are not born to kill, or inherit, or repeat. We are built to remember. And in memory... We build again." ~~~~~~~~~~ THE CODE RETURNS — FINAL WHISPER A sound, deep inside the Umbra network. Just once. A ripple in silence.

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

Holding up the round cards? I got a blank look in return. “What tournament?” Evidently, the contest held among the Masters was not widely known about. Either that or Yuqi had lied to me. Speaking of Yuqi, the Codex which provided a hotline direct to the crazy bitch had to be returned to Dorma. It could have come in useful, but it more likely would have caused problems. I’d rather it stayed here so she could boss Dorma around than give her another chance to lose her rag with Phil and get us all killed out of spite.

His HeartBroken Wife

His HeartBroken Wife

I trust you with this mission for my darling. That was what the message read. I took out my hands that had gone white in an instant from squeezing my fists hard. They had been planning this whole thing for months or probably years but something wasn't adding up here. Who was this mysterious person. “And where you able to trace the number of the sender?” I asked. Kris nodded but didn't seem enthusiastic about it. “Yes I did Mr De Luan but the name registered doesn't exist. A certain code of some sort. CodeCB. It's weird to have that word registered.” “Hmm, it is weird and very well suspicious.” Mr Yang said.

His Luna

His Luna

She could not help but feel annoyed that she almost believed his nonsense antics. Adhler was about to tell her something when Daimon showed up in the vicinity. Adhler furrows his brows as he dismisses the young lady and follows Daimon to the alley. "Code," he asked his butler. There's this system that Adhler created to make it possible for them to talk about confidential things even in crowded places. It was a system he came up with when he was just ten, and they had been using it since then. Daimon and the first and second orders of Adhler's knights are the only ones aware of the meaning behind them.

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

She looked like she was waiting. "00:00:20," the Arbiter announced. "Xander Thorne," Xander said suddenly, his voice loud and clear. "Vocal ID 77-Alpha-Nine." "Xander, no!" I cried out. "Seraphina, trust me!" he roared, his eyes locking onto mine with a desperate, burning intensity. "Say your code. Now!"
