Yuri’s fingers traced absent patterns on Akari’s arm, her heart still buzzing from the confessions they’d shared under the moonlight.
Akari stirred, her eyes fluttering open to meet Yuri’s. A sleepy smile curved her lips. “Morning, Chan,” she murmured, her voice husky with sleep. “You’re staring again.”
Yuri blushed but didn’t look away. “Can’t help it,” she admitted, her voice soft. “You’re here, it’s real.”
Akari’s smile widened, and she leaned in, pressing a quick kiss to Yuri’s forehead. “Very real,” she said, her tone teasing but warm. “Now, about those pancakes I promised.”
