***Present Day*** I knew that Yūri’s story was going to be a wild one. The few stories she’d told me over the last three years of dating Riko have been epic. And now that she and Hibiki have agreed to give me the full story...their story is nuts! It’s why I wanted to make it into a manga.

I stomped on the food till my strength and a third of my frustration drained. Hours turned to days and days turned to what I could only assume was weeks. At first didn’t believe what Rian had said initially about fabricating the love between Yuri and I using magic but now I couldn’t deny the possibility of it being true. If Yuri was truly in love with me then he would have come already to rescue me but there was no Yuri and there was no knight in shining armor just like the ones that rescue the other princesses in the numerous stories.

We took the bus to her shared apartment, and the moment we were inside her room, I threw my bag onto the floor and sat down on the chair behind the study desk. Jess’ room was pleasantly neat and tidy, with stacks of textbooks, and of course, BL manga and light novels, sitting on the desk. On her single bed were a few soft toys. Naturally, they were of male characters who had strong gay undertones from famous anime such as Sebastian and Ceil from Black Butler, Yuu and Mika from Owari no Seraph, Eren and Levi from Attack on Titan, and Yuuri and Victor from Yuri on Ice. I knew the characters because I had to suffer countless hours watching the anime with her.

Yuri acted like vine, clingy and suffocating… only I loved this side of her, and wished I’d see more of it soon! “Why won’t you touch me?!” She all but cried out as I placed her on the bed, and made a beeline to the shower – a cold shower awaited me, hopefully one where she didn’t join me. I knew that if her pheromones were playing with my head and driving me to the brink of insanity, Yuri had it worse, possibly tenfold. She didn’t care for me, and yet she was ready to beg for it, as she so put it earlier on.

Impossible! Reincarnation? Could Yuki be a version of herself from the past? Hah? Absurd. That was the craziest thing she ever heard! How could there be such a thing as reincarnation in this world? That was just a myth! A bedtime fairy tale! Besides, her past life was so tragic? So sorrowful.... Helen continued to seek a thousand reasons to deny the feelings and speculations she possessed about Yuki and the dream. She started pacing around the bathroom. She kept trying to brush off her silly thoughts and ideas. But.... The more she denied it, the more tenacious her wild god-tier imagination became.

"Yuri is being a shrew. I can eat all the fig jam I want... no wonder boys turn up their noses at her, hmph!" Yuri was slowly climbing up the tall platform, escorted by several soldiers. The iron chains dragged on the ground, making sounds as she moved. Yuri appeared indifferent and did not feel worried in the slightest even though she was captured. As a fairy born in the Illusion Virtual World, she was not only kind-hearted but also had a tough personality. However, she was not afraid of death at all. More importantly, she believed that if Darryl were on the same continent as her, he would make an effort to save her when he got the news.

He exerted immense effort to reach this point. Unsure of Gena’s desires, he suspected her confusion and rebellion. Her mindset mirrored that of a child seeking undefined fun, oblivious to its nature or consequences. Yuri found it challenging to enjoy her presence, but he derived pleasure from pushing her to the point of fear. He loved hearing her pain, but to hear her beg for more, as if he gave her the greatest pleasure. Yuri remained uncertain whether it aroused him or repulsed him, the most intense reaction he had ever experienced.

I smiled victoriously on coming up with a perfect excuse to escape. "oh okay." he seemed slightly unbothered. "What's her name anywa-" he dropped a speaker while talking to me. Great! Couldn't expect anything less from the 'God of destruction'. I hurried forward to help him. "Her name is Yuri" That's the best name you could come up with hikari, seriously, I thought to myself. Yuri means a ghost in Japanese, I face palmed myself in my head. "oh Yuri," he giggled a little "pretty name"
