Lyra stared at her as if she had just insulted her personally. “You’re unbelievable.” Serena swallowed hard. “Maybe.” Lyra’s expression twisted with anger. “You self-glorifying piece of shit.” Serena flinched. Lyra shoved her hard. Serena stumbled backward, barely catching herself against the bed. “You think you’re better than everyone else,” Lyra spat. Serena shook her head desperately. “That’s not—” Lyra turned toward the door. “Lyra, wait—” But Lyra didn’t stop. “Please,” Serena said quickly, her voice breaking.

Hyera’s voice trembles. “Why am I doing this?” Serah cackles, clicking her tongue. “Did you think I would let you take everything from me?!” Tears stream down Hyera’s face as she struggles, but every effort fails. “You just showed up and destroyed everything!” Serah screams, her voice dripping with hatred. “Do you want me to tell you everything I’ve done just to make Atlas mine? You showed up like a little thief and ruined it all!” She clicks her tongue, shaking her head in bitter rage.

Gone was the once lament face of Sera and was amended into a face kindred to a child waiting for it's candy to be given. Yseah steered her gaze away at her personal handmaiden as she can feel her face burning red. She then spoke thereafter. "That is non of your concern, Sera. For now let's go back. I need to change." Yseah said as she carefully spewed the indifference to not turn in a single stutter. Still, Sera who was accustomed to their Luna's feisty words, let out a giggle instead that resonated the empty corridors. Yseah leading their pace, was still flushed in red colors as they gait their way back to their quarters.

The real mating happened when he pushed inside me and sank his teeth into my neck, marking me as his forever. We left for Blackthorn before the sun came up, and Octavia floated over to say goodbye with that poisonous smile on her face. She pulled me into a hug that looked tender from the outside while her nails dug into the burns still healing on my back. "I hope he makes you so happy, Sera." Her breath was warm against my ear. "You two deserve each other." I bit my tongue until I tasted blood and climbed into the carriage without looking back.

All I saw was Sera snapping Yvara’s head to the side with a brutal, closed-fist punch. Yvara stumbled back, her boots scuffing against the stone. Sera stood before her, panting like she had just run a marathon, her chest heaving under her tunic. "You promised me!" Sera screamed, her voice echoing off the vaulted ceiling. "You fucking promised you wouldn't hurt her! Why the fuck did you go as far as stabbing her?" Yvara slowly brought her hand up to her mouth, wiping a smear of blood from her lip with the back of her thumb. She didn't look angry. She just looked bored.

A few months ago, when Serena was the new girl on the scene, the two of us bonded over feeling like outsiders among that group. Since then, she’s accepted her mate bond with Reid and become Luna of their pack, so she’s fully entrenched in it, friendly with all the guys and close with the girls. ~Lydia's POV~ I stood in the shadows of the corridor, my heart racing with satisfaction as Serah's face transformed right in front of the visiting Luna. Veins spread across her skin like dark rivers, and her fangs lengthened fully. The strong scent of the Luna's blood had done exactly what I wanted, and Serah looked ready to strike. The visiting Alpha appeared suddenly from the main hall, drawn by the strange silence. When he saw his wife facing Serah in that state, anger flashed across his face. He rushed forward and flung Serah off with one powerful push, sending her crashing against the wall to protect his Luna.
