He was indeed foolish. “That child is the key to ‘The Heart of Magic.’ If you kill her, you will lose The heart of magic forever.” Aslan’s words kept ringing in my ears long after he left. ‘The Heart of Magic’ was the most coveted stone in the world. Rumors have it that this stone can grant immense power to the holder. The only problem was that it is hidden on The Enchanted Island. The only way to reach there was through a portal. Since the baby was the key to the portal, I had to wait until I had obtained the stone before killing it.

It seemed as if his three sisters were younger than him, and their brother was older. He had beautiful eyes with a good height, adorned with a nifty eye-map. Dark brown hair, hazel brown eyes, a slight shaving on the face... and he was the first choice of thousands of girls – Ahil Raizada. All the girls in his office admired him, but they knew that he would never be there, it would only be a dream. Truly, he is just a prince charming of dreams. Today, the entire Raizada mansion was glittering due to Ahil's birthday. His three married sisters were present, but no one seemed to know whose birthday it was. His elder sister Sneha called him.

Footsteps echoed through the corridor, and I turned to see Kaida, Tommy, and Kendrick walking toward us. “You may be the queen of hearts, but every reign has its end,” Natasha’s eyes tensed. “Pick a side.” “I have,” I snatched my hand away from her, peering through the ICU. “Wifey,” Kaida rasped. I pulled him into a hug, sobbing. “Thank you.” His hot breath fanned my neck. “Don’t say that again, please?” I broke the hug, nodding. Turning to Kendrick, a high-pitched beep pierced through the air.

Ever since Damien had openly challenged me for the throne, it wasn’t a secret that he too had been making his strategies to find her… Zelda Lysarian…the name that had haunted my nights since childhood. Restlessness kicked in at that name. Taking a sharp inhale, I closed my eyes and the first thing I saw was HER. Even after all these years, she was still clinging to my memories like a ghost. I didn’t remember how she looked or what her features were or anything about her in particular. I just had this last image of her engraved in the fissures of my brain. A shudder coursed through my body. My eyes snapped open and I jerked upright, startling everyone.

The ballroom glittered with a thousand golden lights, each crystal chandelier reflecting the wealth and power of the people beneath them. Cassandra Blake smoothed the silver satin of her gown, the fabric soft against her palm, a reminder to keep her mask in place. In this room, a smile was currency, and hers had been perfected through years of necessity.

“And the canvas is colder.” “Good.” Aria turned the rim of her cup. “How’s the light?” “It doesn’t hurt.” He smiled faintly. “No flashes.” “Then we stay there. Ten minutes. At the end we’ll come back on the word ‘blue.’” “Blue?” Kai opened his eyes. “You need a return code too,” Aria shrugged. “Red is the brake. Blue is homecoming. Like it?” “Yes.” He nodded slowly. “Blue.”

He must have come during his short break, not even bothering to change out of his royal attire. Beneath the cloak, his gold-inlaid armor gleamed faintly under the soft light, every engraved pattern glowing with a muted, refined sheen. I could hear the faint, rhythmic clink of metal with each movement he made, low, steady like the heartbeat of a man whose heart had long turned to steel. A silver ring shaped like a crescent moon encircled his finger, catching the light and sending a shiver through me. It was the royal seal of the Lycan King, the mark of one who commanded thousands and the symbol of eternal solitude.

Hazel replied. "When I was little, my grandmother once told me, that a child would be born into this kingdom, to deliver this kingdom from an evil dragon, and their enemies. The destiny of this kingdom lies in the hands of the child, because the child alone is destined to restore peace back into this kingdom with her supernatural powers, and I heard the time is now." Jane said calmly. Hazel's heart is skipped by what Jane said, she knew they were speaking about her child, her dreams are finally coming to pass.

I asked softly. "And father, Will he come with me?" He asked. "Yes he will, and you should know my name, I am Stacey, what is your name?" I asked. He laughed loudly and clapped. "Name, name, name." He sang over and over. "Hey, how about prince, prince will be your name because Where we are going there is a big palace waiting for you" I lied with a smile. "Prince! Prince! Stacey, Stacey" he said happily then stood up and jumped up and down.
