It was a dead end, and it was dark. There was no light, and I couldn't see anything outside. The sky wasn't blue but rather a deep red in color, something I had never seen before. I attempted to look again and saw some white hands, as if they were trying to wave. I couldn't quite understand what they were, and the darkness made it difficult to see clearly.

Further in the distance, Ironclad dragons train with their bondeds, bronze scales glimmering beneath the rising sun. Terrifying, but majestic. For a few silent moments, I simply watch. Because despite all else, I still love them. I always have, even though Aetherion Academy was not supposed to be my future.
