Shadow Hunter

Shadow Hunter

It was a pathetic and undeniable craven existence but it was how they were winning the war. Dave let out a sigh. "No. He used a HG blade." I nodded. A brilliant man named Henry Gomez spent his life developing a UV spiked, but essentially silver based liquid that could be applied to any metallic object, leaving a coat of active poison that would kill both shade and host upon entering the their shared body. Something in perfectly balanced formula temporarily imprisoned the shade and as long as the wounds you inflicted on the human were mortal, the shade shared the same fate. The HG liquid had become as precious to us as light bulbs. It was hard to come by at the best of times, especially out h

Monster Hunter

He said, he then raised his index finger and a drop of golden god-blood dropped from his finger and landed on the ground “Three days from now a metal vein will appear at this spot, weapons forged from it will be capable of killing them.” He added with a smile, he then pointed the finger at Amelia and another drop of god-blood flew from it and landed on her forehead before assimilating into her body and then her soul. Amelia felt a rush of power she has never felt before coursing through her body.

She Wolf

She Wolf

She wiped away uninvited, but expected tears, put the sheets back and, like a prisoner, counted the days until the end of the period agreed with her brother. Spring was early, water was already dripping from the roofs, rolling down the icicles. Deep snowdrifts quickly melted and the water, not having time to soak into the ground, spread out and from this the road turned into a muddy mess. But, despite this, the soul seemed to open in anticipation of warmth: as the earth becomes covered with greenery, and now, in joyful pleasure, my she-wolf rushes through the forest among the trees, bushes covered with a green haze, raising her muzzle, squinting sweetly looking into the clear blue sky. It ca

Phoenix Cry

I said. “About that…I am the key keeper of the gates of the heavens. I actually am friends with Zephyrine’s father, the God of the Wind and Guardian of the Gate of heavens. Since Zephyrine’s mother, my sister, died I’ve taken her as my own.” He explained. Oh, so he isn’t a beast-man.

Blood Magic's Bond

Blood Magic's Bond

She didn’t dare to breathe as an eerie silence settled around her. The two Air Sorcerers had their hands raised above them, the Earth Sorcerers’ pointed to the ground, all their mouths moving in whispered tones. And then Zephyr spoke. “I can see it, the entire camp, the land stretching beyond. I am like a bird upon the wind.” His voice was monotone, almost as if he were in a trance, but Astasha still couldn’t help the breath of relief she released upon hearing it. “It worked.” She whispered almost to herself.

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

He screamed, thrashing as the light burned through him. “Forgive me,” she whispered, and released a burst of pure Dreamlight. The storm collapsed. When the winds died, Zephyr lay motionless, his eyes clear again, pale blue, human, remorseful. “She’s still there,” he rasped. “Inside me. Inside all of us.” Lyra knelt beside him. “Then I’ll find her.” Zephyr’s lips twitched in a faint, broken smile. “Find her fast… before she remembers how to want.”

Faking the Mate Bond

Faking the Mate Bond

“Right now!” “But…” “DO IT!” Zephyr growled a command. I felt a prod in my forehead. White light flashed in my head for a few seconds, making all the cramping, stuffiness and suffocation disappear along with the reason I felt all of those things. My head, that felt spaceless, immediately felt like an endless meadow. I stood there covered in blood and wounds. In that meadow appeared Zephyr, bringing with himself the caress of warm healing winds.

I LOVE this book so much! It was a great start, then it had a huge twist that I thought at first I wasn’t going to like, but it was soooo good! I couldn’t put it down and read it in like 3 days up until it’s close to the end as it’s not quite finished. It’s well worth the read!!

FROST and FLAMES

FROST and FLAMES

She wanted to avert at any cost. She jumped out of the window and set off for the Golden Land. She ran like a bolt of lightning through the trees and bushes. She halted abruptly and looked to the sky. She felt like she had seen a beam of light pass by her but when she didn’t find anything. She let out a deep sigh and proceeded to the Golden Land. *** Alex melted the door to the ice cave and stepped in. The vampires looked at him with pitiful expressions. He said in a soothing voice, “I have come here to set you free but you have to accompany me to Dixonville…”

Shadow Moon

Shadow Moon

Zara was reading a story aloud, her soothing voice weaving magic into the air, while Milak playfully tussled Aqua's hair, making her giggle. Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted. The wind outside picked up, howling with an eerie intensity. The temperature dropped, and a heavy sense of foreboding settled over the house. Milak's playful demeanor vanished as he stood up, his eyes narrowing in concern. Zara paused mid-sentence, her gaze snapping to the window. "A storm is coming," Milak said, his voice tight with worry. He moved to the window, pulling back the curtain to peer outside. Zara set the book down, her expression mirroring her husband's unease. "It's not just a storm," she whispered, her v

The Assassin

The Assassin

“Tiger, I’m sorry to tell you that your life ends tonight. It’s nothing personal, I don’t want to kill you, but I must.” “No Zephyr, don’t do this!” I say to her as she swings her sword impossibly fast. I duck just in time, rolling closer to her to make it harder for her to kill me. I stand, reaching for her, grabbing her face in one hand and her sword hand in the other. “Look at me Zephyr!” I demand. When she does, all I see is what looks like clouds in her eyes. Gone is the soft light blue color. Now they are almost the same color as her snow-white hair.
