Chapter 1. Zombie (i) February twelve, Two thousand and twenty-seven. Eight o'clock. It was a very busy day at the Center for Disease and Pandemic District Hospital, Washington, DC. A big Laboratory and often used by the Militants. The building was so high and big, and had three entrances; The Front, Left Side, and Backside. It's painted with white colour and so many staff members work therein and each of them has his or her position. Luis George is forty-one years old and was born in Georgia. He is six-point forty-five feet tall with black hair and brown colored eyes. One could say he's slim.

“Well…hate to break it to you, but I guess they did; perfect that science, that it.” “What?” Kathy frowned. “No, that’s impossible! How…oh...” “You mean, oh no?” I offered. “Oh shit!” “Yup.” I nodded. “Zero.” “Subject Zero.”

Dozens of names. Children. Test subjects. One file was labeled Subject Zero. He clicked it open, and a voice played—a recording. :: "He’s unlike the others. Repeated memory wipes are ineffective. Aggression threshold remains unstable. He’s bonded to the female assigned during Phase 2. Possible emotional imprint—compromised control?" :: Damien’s eyes darkened. “Subject Zero,” I whispered. “That’s you.” “No.” His voice was cold. “Daemon was Subject Zero. I… was never meant to be the original. I was the decoy.”

Dina was shocked as to why Jean still remembered them, although it was distorted, his memories of them were still there. “For some reason, he remembers us but not the events that happened before the restart and now all he knows is that we once existed but he can’t tell how, when, where….” Dina muttered to Zero as she looked at him endearingly for an answer. Zero thought for a bit but didn’t seem to find an answer, he did have a theory but the rules wouldn’t approve of him telling Dina about it. “I can’t tell host but I promise to report this to the higher uppers and have it sorted by the end of your second mission,” Zero responded.
