We stood locked, eye to eye, teeth gritted, muscles straining. Then, through the clash of steel and storm, he hissed, “Who are you?” I met his stare and grinned, despite the blood on my lips. “Don’t you remember?” I whispered. “I’m Zevarion, the god of lightning.” At that moment. I continue, turning to shoot him a smirk much to his displeasure. "Mila... my Goddess..." he begins to say but I cut him off. "I've heard enough. Enjoy wherever Hades decides to put you." I simply state, before reaching out and grabbing hold of the lightning bolt. The electric currents pulse through my hand and all the way up to my shoulder, making me feel more powerful then ever. "YOU'RE MAKING A GRAVE MISTAKE, MILA RAE! YOU WILL PAY WITH YOUR IMMORTAL LIFE FOR THIS!" Zeus roars, but I simply roll my eyes before blasting him with his own bolt.

Zeus is often depicted as an older man with a beard and is represented by symbols such as the lightning bolt and the eagle. He fathered many children. Among the most well-known are Athena, the goddess of war; Perseus, the hero known for slaying Medusa; and Persephone, Demeter’s daughter, and wife to Hades. Zeus is known for his many sexual (and oftentimes nonconsensual) relationships outside of his marriage to his wife and sister Hera.
