Zeus Lightning God Mga Nobela at Kwento

Carefully laying it over my folded knees, I googled 'Greek god Zeus'. Zeus was the god of the sky and ruler of the Olympian gods. He overthrew his father, Cronus, and then drew lots with his brothers Poseidon and Hades, in order to decide who would succeed their father on the throne. Zeus won the draw and became the supreme ruler of the gods, as well as lord of the sky and rain. His weapon was a thunderbolt which he hurled at those who displeased or defied him, especially liars and oathbreakers. He was married to Hera but often tested her patience, as he was infamous for his many affairs. How many affairs are we talking about?

Zeus threw his head back to laugh. “Save the gods, her family, or save the helpless humans or supernaturals. It will be the most exciting thing to witness.” Zeus rubbed his hands. “You have gone bloody mad!” I roared. “What the fuck happened to your twisted—” slap of lightning ran through my face. My mother screamed for Zeus to stop. The bolts rained down on my face, blood pooling to my collarbone, now dripping down my torso.

"Elements are what makes our world, they're what makes us, what drives us. Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, lightning, they existed before us. They are like our gods and so, their spells deserve to be treated with respect. You can't tame lightning, Zeus. It is the element that tames you, that gives you strength." She pursed her lips as I stared dumbfounded. "That is why you fell, Zeus. You tried to command the power of gods,” she gently stroked my hands but I was still confused.

Not even Hera or Athena held so much power and dominance. "A God who only needs us when your power is weakening, and I am quite certain that is why you are here, Great God Zeus." Her soft voice was laced with sarcasm and it only annoyed him more. "Yes, I am Zeus, the God of the Sky and Thunder, and you..." he approached her until he was towering over her. "You are a mere mortal playing God. Your purpose is to submit to a man and bear his children." He hissed in her face and she fought his gaze.

He got to live without it, always following him like a shadow. "Exactly." I nodded, finishing my drink. "You aren't looking at it the same way as I am, Androkles." he sighed. "And how are you looking at it?" I cocked an eyebrow. "Born of lightning, we know that part is referring to being the son of Nikos." He began his breakdown. "A destroyer emerges. That could just be speaking that you would become Ares. As God of War, he is often seen as a destroyer." He pointed out that I'm finding it hard to argue with the logic.

Still, they kept watching each other. Zeus was lord of the sky once again, but his wife also bore him three other gods: Ares, the god of war, Hephaestus, the smith-god, forger of weapons, and Eris, goddess of chaos and discord, who shrieks beside Ares in his battle chariot. The rest of Zeus's children were born out of wedlock. Three of them entered the Pantheon later.
