In an instant, I recognized the caller—not because I had memorized the number, but because Julian had set a special ringtone for her—his first love. "Honey, hold on. I need to take this call."

He held her down, her body still pulsing around his. “Hello?” he answered, his voice strained as he fought to control his breathing. “Dad?
