*Zombie* I bolt out of the old school like a bat out of hell, the door slamming behind me with a thud that echoes in the stillness of the night. The world should end on a Monday. There’s something honest about that. Brutal, yes, but clean. A Monday already has the emotional texture of damp socks and unpaid bills, so adding zombies feels less like a cosmic betrayal and more like management escalating a complaint. Unfortunately, the world chooses Thursday at 6:17 p.m., while Maya Rodriguez is standing barefoot in her kitchen, trying to decide whether expired sour cream is a negotiable concept. “It smells fine,” Dex says from behind her.

If he does not see what faintly strides through the dark night. So he turns again. He does not come to full view. He watches the figure move like the zombies from the video game. It was how the Apocalypse begins. First, a single zombie is seen raiding the streets but just as humans think they had it under control, a pack would lash out of a corner, charging towards them. No! Don't think that. Zombies are not real.

“Sa piling kasi ng mahal nila, doon nila nahahanap ang kanilang sarili.” “Ah…” “Blue…” “Hmm…” “May tanong pa ako sa’yo.” “Inatake na naman ang curiosity mo. Ako naman ang magtatanong sa’yo. Kung isasapeikula ang buhay natin, ano kaya ang magiging genre?” “Hmm… Romance?” “Mali.” “Eh ano?” “Horror. Ikaw ba naman may kasamang sleepwalker na tumatawa na parang mangkukulam gabi-gabi.”

On the day the zombie outbreak occurs, I tell my boyfriend, Valerio Petrucci, to come over and hide in my apartment, where my front door is already reinforced. Soon, sounds of the door being knocked can be heard. I'm about to get up when transparent comment bubbles appear in front of my eyes. "Don't open the door! Valerio isn't the only one out there—there are a bunch of loan sharks with him as well!" "One of them is already infected with the zombie virus and is about to turn into a zombie!"

Alaric was upset with the deal Adna proposed to him. Not that his blood wasn't weak to perform necromancing but he had no one to teach him. Alaric was sitting in his office, with his head in his hands. Behind the wall hangs a portrait of a woman. She was no other than the famous Zara Knight, Alaric's mother. Below the portrait, there was a wooden decor where all the trophies were placed. It was from her mother, she was a vampire hunter. She hunted more than hundred of rogue vampires who were supposedly a threat to the entire community.

He was pretty much all I had when it came to protection and comfort. I felt more tears begin to form in my eyes as I thought that over. I'm such a baby. I didn't even make it past the first night without missing him. "Oh," Doe replied while I wiped my eyes, "Well, At least I think I stopped you before you woke up the vampir-" Doe was cut off, with some sort of twisted timing, by a vampire kicking open the door to our room. I barely saw the light begin to flood in before I saw panic begin to flash in Does eyes.

“I’ll be damned if I’m taken naked again.” She couldn’t explain why she found his comment amusing, but she did. He gave her an odd look at the sound of her faint giggle, but said nothing as he quickly pulled on his clothes. They’d just finished pulling on their boots when a zombie -who had once been a male human- burst out of the brush. For a zombie, its speed was fairly quick, which led them to believe that it was advanced. It completely ignored them as it headed for the deer.

They ate the food in silence. After eating, they moved to the living room debating on which movie to watch. "Let's watch Lion King" nafisa suggested . "And why? "Khadija questioned. "Do I look like a baby to you "she added. Nafisa dropped the topic of watching cartoons before her cousin would take it far, they decided on watching The Meg which nafisa found weird . She doesn't like action or romantic movies, she would rather watch cartoon for the rest of her life. The movie was scary to fawaz, he wasn't familiar with such big fishes.
