He misses Lucifer's father, Lucian is hot-headed and stubborn but he reasons fine despite his anger but his son inherited everything from him except his ability to control his anger. "Get her what she needs, get her food, and after that, take her to the healer." He ordered the warrior standing next to Zoey who just nodded. "I don't need your healer, I can heal myself. Just get me my bag." She murmured weakly, her body almost betraying her but she sits strong. Zach gives her a size-up look, and shrugged his shoulder, "Do as I've instructed." He said, ignoring her request Zoey's weak body flared up but she is too weak to act on it and hence her reason to keep mute. There's always another time.

I knew that something was off with him, my wolf had warned me against him as I didn’t feel a positive aura around him when he told us about his father being a dangerous man. “He was trying to fool us,” Zuzu speaks, grinding her teeth. Anger rolls off her in waves as she shoots daggers at his picture. I wonder what she would have done to him, had he been standing right in front of her, which brings a satisfactory smirk on my face. I want to tell her that not me but I control the urge to tell her that in front of the others but I will definitely tease her about it when she is just with me. My wolf doesn’t approve of this and as usual, I don’t care about his opinion in this matter.

Nicholas, Alex, and Aiden all exclaimed his name at once, their shock mirroring my own. I stood abruptly, my chair scraping against the floor as I rose to my full height. Zuko, my wolf, was growling in the back of my mind, his fury almost too much to contain. He wanted to take over, to end this insubordination once and for all, but I fought to keep him in check. I stepped closer to Caden, our gazes locked in a silent battle. He didn’t back down, his stance defiant. “Why are you doing this?” I demanded, my voice low and dangerous.

Humans were open to diseases like crazy anyway. “No worries,” Zhao rasped, his voice rough with emotion. “Just…lost in thought.” He forced a smile, the muscles in his cheeks unfamiliar with the movement. It’s been years remember? “Your hair is so cool!” the boy exclaimed, unfazed by Zhao’s strained demeanor. “Like Gojo! Do you know Gojo? He’s my favorite anime character!” he seemed to peruse Zhao once again and shook his head. “No, I don’t think you are an anime character. Are you a spy?”

Zuko took a step forward but held Lina's hands tightly. "Desiree, there are some things I must clarify with you. We had a childhood connection, but we've grown up now." Zuko paused and enunciated each word. "There's a difference between men and women!" "You—" "Also, I don't have any 'bros' or 'buddies', only one younger brother, Toph. I do have a few close friends, but they're all male."

"What is that, some old TV show?" "Yes," I giggle and walk to the boat's edge. The air is crisp, but I'm warmer than usual around John. "Zuko was the antagonist for the first seasons but became a hero in the last. He was this hot, edgy teenage boy with fire bending, and I found him so hot with his scarred face and dark hair." "Dark hair, huh?" I snort at John when he wiggles his eyebrows suggestively, and then I shake my head at him. "Don't get your hopes up—your hair is longer, and you're not as cute as Zuko."

I retort without hesitation. Zac watches me carefully, his eyes flickering across my face and then he sighs deeply. "I don't think you still get it Aria." I'm surprised for a second, purely because he had called me by my name. This was only the second time he hadn't referred by title, the first time being when he was stopping me from the revival spell. "What don't-" "Zelda is not someone you can ever be ready for!" he snaps suddenly, his eyes igniting with hidden fire. "She is unpredictable and powerful and what's more, she is crazy for more."

He decided to fly in that direction to get a better reading of that anchor with his space-folding power. As time passed, something was affecting his persona and psyche. Yes, he felt at home here but he also felt like his power was infinite and eternal, he felt like the king that had returned from a long exile to his rightful throne… The arrogance of the only one above all that he thought he didn’t have in him began to manifest.
