I steeled myself and opened the door. The hallway was awash in red. Smears and spatters of bright and dark blood covered the walls, the floor, and my door. My head reeled. What the hell happened? Why was there so much blood outside my door? Hadn't the guy in 603 seen it through his peephole? I couldn't help looking toward apartment 603. To my surprise, the door stood half-open, and it was dead quiet inside. I picked my way past the bloodstains and made my way to apartment 603.

The monsters coming out of the darkness around them were unlike anything Jo had ever seen before, and she’d been watching horror movies since she was a toddler--or thereabouts. Some of these things were conglomerations of mythical creatures--with heads and claws of one species and bodies of something completely different. Some had wings, others had horns where they shouldn’t be, and the one thing they all had in common was that they were trying to kill them. Or eat them alive.

I wasn’t entirely sure how to respond to Lucas’ words. I just watched in horror as the scene in front of me. The sight of blood everywhere. I couldn’t figure out what was more disturbing. The dead bodies and blood or the sight of Lucas, who had transformed into some monster.

I never realized how peaceful humans look when they are in the depths of deep slumber. Just by looking at one you would think all well within the world, and maybe it is but not in my world. As I watch Sky sleep I realize two things, one being that I have finally embraced the fact that I'm a nonhuman and the other is that for the first time in my life I am truly scared. For the last few days all I have been feeling this intense fear, gut wrenching fear that at any moment one of the demons after me would come and kill the love of my life. Hence why I have been watching him sleep and basically following him around for days now.

"Thanks so much." Logan gave the old female some coins before they left and continued their tour. "This is the territory of the Clan of the ghost" he uttered pointing at the huge kingdom before them. "Stop Danny" he commanded and Danny did. "Wow, looks terrifying. Any mortal will shit in his/her pants if they sight this kingdom." "Lol. Nothing is terrifying here. Xavier joked. "According to my grandfather, a month after the boy's death, students started missing. They were all found dead in the woods a week or two after. They dubbed the serial killer as Sunnyville Reaper. And, from what my grandfather told me, your parents are one of those kids who bullied him." The student said before leaving. Even Xavier who always care less about anything around him fell silent. He could never imagine that his mother would be involved in something so dark like that.

I know I will nearly solve the case. “Ahhh!!!” I heard the father scream and lose his mind and then the wind suddenly blew hard which kills the candlelight. My room is so dark and I can still feel them watching me. They were surrounding me and it made me freeze. I can still hear them. I know I need to be strong even though my fear is already eating me. I can hear the laugh, the scream, the whisper, the weep that makes me so scared and I can’t take it anymore. That is why I grabbed the lighter beside me and I immediately lit the candle and opened my eyes and looked around. They are suddenly gone. Yet despite the gore, there wasn’t a single drop on Chloe. The silence was deafening. It was like time had come to a standstill. Chloe felt her mind shutting down as the horror scene filled her vision. The need to scream filled her body. The pressure built in her throat, constricting her throat. Before she could do anything, a hand clamped around her mouth, muffling the scream that finally escaped her. “Chloe, it’s me.” Omar’s voice sent relief through the blonde. “I need you to be quiet. Can you do that?”

Wait, isn't that how most horror movies start? Before I could bring the hood back down, I see a tow truck speed past me then pull over right in front of where me and my jalopy are. I didn't see the name of the tow truck company, but I go into my glovebox of my car and grab my stun gun just in case. You can never be too sure. When I see a familiar blonde-haired beauty, my hand carrying the stun gun relaxes. I pick up my purse and place the stun gun inside. What luck that he happened to see me, I know this is a busy road but what are the odds that a tow truck driven by a man I met a few days ago, would just drive past me while I am need of one.
