Alonso's POV
"What if I want to know?" I ask my father, still unable to shake the feeling off.
I saw my father just stand there in front of John Adams and not do a thing while John Adams was verbally attacking my entire family. Not just my family but a few things as well. My father defended when it came to my mother, thankfully.
"It has nothing to do with you, Alonso" my father says through his gritted teeth and now I feel my blood boiling.
"How does it justify when you put my life on line? By announcing my engagement with someone I didn't even know? And now her father walks around verbally attacking you and the Royal family for not standing up to our words and you are still here refusing to tell me about it!" I almost scream at him but I stop screaming even more when I catch my own scent in the room.
