A relaxed sigh escaped my mouth as I rested my body on the door. Shutting my eyes for a second to recollect myself. "Ah!" I screamed and sent my hand across Jacob's face as I met his chestnut brown eyes staring at me as I opened my eyes.
"Ow! I deserve that." He held on to his cheek as he backed away from me.
"I'm sorry… are you hurt?" I ran to him.
"Nah it's fine." He smiled.
I gently caressed his cheek and our eyes met, locking gaze and I felt my heart skip a beat as his lips curved into a warm smile. "Uhm--" I cleared my throat as I took a few steps backwards.
